Now I'm not going to go into detail about my experience last night but I have a whole batch of homegrown B+ which I tried for the first time. I naturally anticipated something similar to my experiences in the past but however it's completely different now. Last night I took just one mushroom, and what a ride it took me on; one of those locked in journeys where your forced to learn your lessons. I took it at 12 and must have dropped off at around 6. Anyhow, it was a really tough space to deal with and ripped right through me, but I came out on top.

My reason for posting though, is that I was wondering if someone could maybe share their experience here with regards to visuals and body load. My past experiences were really fluid visually, and when I closed my eyes the visuals where just gorgeous, however last night I didn't see the usual mushroom visuals, they were in fact mostly like my ayahuasca visuals, being really crystal-like, and geometric. Also though the body load I got was actually quite uncomfortable, I felt like I was stiffening up, and having my heart cave in, I also didn't get the euphoric come up. I really had to pull out the fearlessness and fully focus.

Has anyone else had something similar? Where your mushroom journeys take on a whole new form however with the same principles in place?

..it's quite amusing to look back on it.. sat there remembering the old times, waiting for that euphoric feeling that makes you want to laugh... however it was FAR from being something funny.. : )

Excuse my English by the way, I'm still processing that space.

Yes this sounds familiar.
A couple of years ago the come up changed from euphoric to fearful/anxious for me.
Then the CEV's got more intense and sometimes really apprehensive/repulsive.
The chance of a difficult trip changed to like 30-50%.
Since taking Aya, there is a chance that a shroom trip can get something else (like an fullblown Ayahuasca experience).

The gloves are off.
Welcome to the new semester.

In my experience I've witnessed both with myself and others what I've termed "the awakening of the 3rd eye" in which people who were per se, new to tripping, needed to at first have several to many sessions of "doses" in which little by little the 3rd eye would become more awakened. Once fully awake, it hasn't mattered for me, so much the dose, but as long as there's an active agent, the trips have always been mindblowing....

Some things to keep in mind, is that everyone is not necessarily compatible with every type of psychoactive substance... I myself cannot handle acid period. Never have had a good trip on el cid, but Mesc - always a great experience.

It makes sense to me that those spaces evolve as we do, but I'm just curious why everything is so geometric now. Same with Ayahuasca, my first trip was very vivid and fluid visually, but now it's a really dimensional alien landscape which is crystalline and very geometric Not complaining though : ) and it's certainly not my intention of a trip, however, I must admit, I would love to see some visuals I've seen with mushrooms in the past.

If I were to guess, I would say that it's probably related to any other lasting effects Ayahuasca might have had on your consciousness.

We know that Ayahuasca can change how you look at, and perceive the world, even after the effects of the drug have worn off, perhaps that change in perception/information processing has exerts a similar effect on how your brain produces psychedelic hallucinations.

I'd be curious to know if you experience the same vector-ish visuals with something more cactus-like.

In the past, some friends of mine and I have had fun looking at the grateful dead album covers - and have always been able to go through them citing the particular hallucinogen that the cover is based on.... acid.. acid... acid... mescaline... shrooms... etc...

You should check them out Smile

If you do try something other than fungus - let me know.

Well cactus is going to be my next. I'm very curious about it.

With regards to the visuals, I have had even some of the same visuals as Ayahuasca. I always have a common color combo which comes as spinning geometry, the combo is pink, yellow and green, but not like how I would normally see those colors.

Anyhow, I'll be taking another dive in 6 days, I'll see how it compares.

Talk to the shrooms, tell them you want to see something different.
Or even better sing/chant/growl/whistle.
When i did the shrooms visions turned more pronounced, more colorful(gold and red) and much more asthethical pleasing.
