I hope you find what you're looking for here and renewing ones acquaintance with what lies beyond 'the veil' after a long hiatus will probably afford you a different perspective that comes with a life lived in the interim.
Has DMT crossed your path before?
Thank you for the warm welcome.
I'm hoping for a different perspective. It's been about 10 years since my last experience, and almost 20 since I did it with any frequency.
I've not had any experience with DMT, but something about what I've read really calls to me. Historically my experience has been with what I consider synthetics (MDA, MDMA, highly processed LSD, or other strange mixes of things). LSD has always been my favorite because of the headspace it puts me in, and the residual creativity it left behind.
To reacquaint myself with the psychedelic space I did a simple CWE on some HBWR. Not enough that the walls would melt, but just enough to tweak those parts of my brain that get a little louder in that realm. It was a little bit sad, but good, and it worked well to remind me that these kinds of experiences are valuable.
That being said, I'm looking for some advice. Back in the day I was usually the guide on trips. It always kept me grounded in the experience to help people get into the right frame of mind and stay there comfortably. I fully intend on doing the full blown shamanistic experience, purge and all, it's an important part of the event. However for more regular experiences I would like to avoid as much of the bad body load (ie nausea and vomiting) as possible. When I'm working on my sculptures or painting I really prefer to *not* be reminded of my body.
Any suggestions for an older experienced guy like myself that would fit that bill?
