Hey all, just realized i can finally post outside of the new members section yay Big grin and as such i decided i would share a few photo's of my Loph.Willi's

The two smallest ones in the first pic are var. caespitosa cuttings taken off the plant in the last picture. The second last pic is also a caespitosa with from what i counted easily 15 tiny buttons not including the two main pups Smile

anything larger than seedling size does better on columnar cacti like trichocereus cereus peruvianus etc- usually can find suitable stock at nurseries or big box stores (pere is harder to source locally)

it would certainly be useful for maturing some of the smaller caes pups


but yea, for bigger plants you would want myrtillo or something.
i was just thinking more for propagation rather than grafting already large plants.

thanks all Smile will eventually start trying to graft on pere with the smaller ones, i think i will keep the larger ones growing on there own roots for awhile .

depending on your climate/conditions highly recommend smaller pots- and mainly mineral based soil w/o much organic matter.

(i've killed a few w/kindness over the years Sad )
