I have been a reader of DMT Nexus ever since my fascination with DMT and psychedelics in general began quite a while ago. I have never taken a psychedelic drug with the intent of just having fun. Of course psychedelics make me feel wonderful, but I also am very aware of the respect that needs to be given towards these substances, particularly DMT. My first DMT experience took me to places unfathomable and indescribable. Though it only lasted 7 minutes, I checked my watch right before and right as it ended, I was shown many wonderful things and imbued with many truths which I still cannot fully comprehend. I could feel the presence of entities, perhaps from another realm, or perhaps from a hyperadvanced species which I was able to communicate with only when my soul was enhanced by this holy molecule.
Anyway, I am glad to finally get on here and start to learn more about others experiences and have meaningful discussions with like-minded people. I am also interested in learning how to perform extractions, for reasons that are quite obvious.

welcome to the nexus, did you break through on the first time?

I am not sure. I would say I was on the verge, I have heard that when you break through, you know it, but im not sure that I got that "know it" feeling. I could still see things in my room and was aware I was in there but I believe there were a few parts where even with my eyes open I was in an entirely different space.
This is not to say that it was not an extremely life changing venture. I was shown things I could never put into words.
I have done it about 10 or more times and can say no breakthroughs on these, the first time was definitely the best. As I am relatively new to dmt, at least in regards to use, I'd say I am still waiting for that breakthrough experience.

Welcome mellowhendrix! One of the things that I love about this forum is that it is full of people who understand the degree of respect that these plants and molecules deserve. I always appreciate people who already have an understanding of that before they join.

You have certainly come to the right place to learn about extraction. I think you will likely enjoy reading all of the different teks and educating yourself on the process and the concepts that compose it. Feel free to message me if you have any questions. I have been reading about the extraction teks, specifically thicklight's tek and think I get most of it. Some of the terminology has me hazy, but reading other teks and checking other forums and the FAQ about A/B extractions with ACRB has cleared most of that up. That being said I am very glad you have offered your knowledge up, as I may need some of it! My first extraction is going to be in a little over a week, hopefully having everything done by Christmas day!
