Bonjour! Recently, i have discovered that an aquaintance of mine has been using a slow cooker to steep his ayahuasca in and the results have been second to none. He claims that it is easier than steeping it over an open flame. My friend, however, is not in a position to commandeer a stove or a slowcooker for enough time to make the sacred brew. However, he has a coffeemaker...
His theoretical recipe is as follows: to a coffeepot is added 3-5g of finely ground syrian rue seed and 10-20 grams of ACRB. A liter of water is put in the carafe and the machine is turned on. After all of the water has gone through the machine and into the pot, an additional 100-150ml of distilled vinegar is added(it doesnt matter which acid you use, just make sure u add enough to reduce the ph to 3-4). The machine stays on and the ACRB/syrian rue is left to steep in the coffeepot for 8+ hours, after which the coffeepot is turned off and the liquid, upon cooling, is poured off into a container and put in the fridge. After this, one would add anotjer liter to the carafe, and conduct 1+ more washes like this one. The solution is boiled-down on a stove to a final volume of 100-200ml(final volume cam vary-just remember that this stuff tastes NASTY and the less there is to eat the better.) the final reduction can be treated just as you would any other kind of hoasca.
My friend has not yet tried this method and i am therefore submitting this theoretical recipe to you, the denizens of the DMT nexus, for peer evaluation and perfection of this technique
