I'm wondering if it is possible to have full blown "visions" on mushrooms?

I've never had full blown vision on Aya
Yes I can see siluettes in the dark
I also don't like to close my eyes ... it gets to mental for me, with colorful shapes etc.

With mushrooms I also can see certain slight colors in the dark
More like energetic fields
But no clear visions

Is this a matter of focusing the eyes in a different way?

When i was in Peru several shamans spoke of opening the "seeing" capacity
But you never know ... there's a lot of half-baked shamans Cool

Don't get much visuals on neither substance. have more experience with mushrooms though.

I heared if you focus your eyes at one spot for a while that things start to get blurred, room starts breathing etc.

Visuals seem to present themselves more when i am also more open, tender and self-confident.

Yes, if you dose correctly the psilocibin /psilocin containing mushroom, you can have full-blown visions, at least in the dark or closing eyes, but it can go very far. open eyes visuals can be very breathtaking.
You can trust its power.
what sort of shrooms are you planning to dose ?

It is certainly possible to have full blown visions on either one. I can say that the visions of ayahuasca and mushrooms can be astounding.

I think it depends on the dose a lot and the types of mushrooms you are consuming. Also, try to close your eyes and let go. Let the mushroom take control of your body and welcome what it shows you.

Sometimes it is hard to keep your eyes closed for a long time, I struggle with this as well, but try to focus on your breathing if possible and enjoy it. I very often have the feeling that the visions get produced or are coming in through my third eye. That might be a good point to focus on as well.

Well thats exactly what you have to do. If you take a higher dose you will get into a trance like state where it gets incredible difficult to keep your eyes open.
It can be fearful at first, but if you let go, it will get easier.
As long as you don't let yourself fall into it, fearful thoughts and resistance will manifest.
Focus on your breathing, if the trip gets too intense, whistle, sing, growl or chant.
You might be even able to change the visions from dark to light.

ive had one shroom experience that seemed to have ayahuasca overtones. about 12 grams dried and powdered. i sometimes think that just doing ayahuasca in the past has made me more sensitive to the psychedelic experience.

Last year a couple of weeks after an 4 day Aya-session i was taking liquid LSD (around 250 micros), and was expecting a nice relaxing trip, but the whole thing turned Ayahuasca on me.
I was laying in bed with extrem powerful absolutly not LSD like visions of snakes and jungle animals (trying to eat me).
It was nearly as exhausting as the most powerful Aya session i had weeks earlier.
Since i've taking Aya, i have the impression that the Ayahuasca experience is bleeding into any tryptamin experience i have.
Shrooms + Rue is nearly the same as Aya for me.

But i have to say that shrooms and acid always had an strong visual component. It was always like that. Only that since taking Aya it has been greatly increased.

I have had similar experiences after my aya ceremony. I get the matrix from the Aya when I do shrooms now. The matrix of Aya is more hard edged or squared I guess. Shrooms for me are circular visuals. Haven't ate L since my ceremony but will be with Alex Grey eating blotter in ATL next week! I'm so hyped that..blowing.sorry. Anyway I've had mind blowing visuals in trance states with mushrooms. The most beautiful experience of my life was on 5 g's of them. I had the most profound feeling of love and everything in perfect sync. I can't explain it but something touched me and told me we are going to be ok. No frets and to trust love and nature. I know, I know hippie stuff right? I've dosed many times and can't seem to get that awakening or the feeling of love again. Anyone else ever experience this?

Both ayahuasca and mushrooms give me strong colorful visions that I probably couldnt tell apart personally. The visions are never exactly the same from trip to trip, regardless of the medicine, but the fractals generally have the same qualities for me - what I see on ayahuasca, I have also seen on mushrooms. If anything, the mushrooms visions are clearer, longer lasting, and morph or flow more for me but that might also might be because I have more experience with them. With both mecidines, the visions become sharper as the experience comes on and the quality changes throughout the duration of the experience.

What I do find is the body buzz is somewhat different. Both come in waves but the I feel the mushrooms in my extremities more than ayahuasca. Ayahuasca comes on in waves for me as well and I feel pressure and warmth in my neck and head, like before I have to purge, rather than in my hands and lips with mushrooms.

if you don't get OEV from both aya and shrooms, something went wrong (presumably dosage, since efficacy of administration isn't much of a factor.)

From DMT The Spirit Molecule (pp36):

Dr. Rick Strassman wrote:
One of the best known tryptamine psychedelics is psilocybin, the active ingredient of "magic mushrooms". When these mushrooms are ingested, the body removes a phosphorous atom from the psilocybin, converting it to psilocin. Psilocin differs from DMT by only one oxygen. I like to think of psilocybin/psilocin as "orally active DMT."

I think it depends on the potency of the shroom and dosage....
