this idea just dawned on me today i always do a standard boil meathod when using chacruna or chaliponga 3x 3 hours, over the years i have tried many things blending the leaf down to powder or freezing it before but ends up absorbing lots of cholphyl which makes the tea beyond terrible, has anyone thought of using a non polar solvent doing abit of a defating process to your brew to possibly improve the taste of it as well being abit more efficient with your plant material. as well does doing this defating process remove any of the chlorphyl or does that just remove the lant fats anyways thanx for the help just an interesting idea to think about

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!
