Hiya Nexus members,

I don't have much to say; I'm pretty sure this will pale in comparison to the introduction essay by shadow, so I'm prepared to sit as a seedling for a while. I'll just describe for you how I came to learn about DMT.

Several years ago I tried Pemberton liberty caps, which contain psilocybin, and would consider the experiences to be more mind opening than merely a high. I haven't used any psychedelics since, but about five years ago I got on this positive energy kick. I researched forgiveness, and began to rid my life of negative situations, which unfortunately included spending less time with certain friends. Then some new friends introduced me to meditation, and I attended an eleven-day vipassana/buddhist retreat. In the last three years I've being paying great attention to what I eat and products I use, and made efforts to cleanse my pineal gland, which has meant making a number of lifestyle changes such as cutting out fluoride for example. From there it's just been a lot of reading and video watching on the internet with one topic introducing another.

I am a humanist, a eupraxsophist to be more specific, which basically means I'm tortured with being an open-minded sceptic. I turn 40 next year, and I've developed a need/craving for real spiritual knowledge.

My thoughts of being introduced to DMT's lessons range from fretting becoming even more repulsed by some of what goes on in this world, to excited for undeniable truths.

Sorry that's all I've got for now.

Hello and a warm welcome to the Nexus...

About this "need/craving" for spiritual knowledge, don't forget that "all suffering is caused by desire" (Buddha)...If you are open to new knowledge, it will come to you at the appropriate time, don't go looking for it too much... Pleased

An interesting read might be "Illusions/Confessions of a reluctant Messiah" (Richard Bach)...

I believe that when you have chosen a Path in life, everything you need will come to you at the right time, be careful with expectations though as they will cloud your judgment...

Mind you, I could be totally wrong Pleased
