A few weeks back I had my first breakthrough on ayahuasca using ACRB. Right before I broke through, while my eyes were closed and I was focusing on my minds eye, I definitely passed out. And when I "came back to" (though it felt like my mind recovered instantly), my experience had begun.
Also, all throughout the trip there was something like a voice repeating itself the entire time. This is a rough description, but the majority of the time it was like "i i i i i i," varying from a low to very high pitch, also varying greatly in speed of its repetition and even changing to different "humming" noises sometimes almost resembling some kind of chant or something.

So I'm wondering if there's anyone else who has passed out before a breakthrough or "heard" something similar during a trip? I thought both of these were very interesting points of my experience, but I haven't read another report describing either of them occurring.

I actually just had a conversation today with my cousin about his ayahuasca experiences, and remarkably he said he was able to fall asleep within 5 minutes of drinking his brew on two separate nights, and when he woke up... ... but in a good way lol . He believes that if you try and rest your mind enough to actually fall asleep, that it allows the medicine to do its work more affectively, without the mind distracting the initial start of the experience. I personally did not get near sleep for 12+ hours after my first two ceremonies, but its a different experience for everyone
