Hi All,

So after much research off a lot of teks, a successful a/b mescaline extraction last week and finally getting the rest of my materials together, this is my first attempt at a DMT extraction.

I started with Acacia Confusa leaves, approx 1Kg, then started my extraction.

So tonight I got to the stage of adding the Naptha (I'm using the equivalent in my area, shellite) I proceed to take three pulls. The resulting liquid is yellow, like quite yellow. After some searching, people are saying this is ok and that is a sign that I have something.

Now I am about to start the freeze precipitate, going from fridge to freezer every three hours till I go to bed and hopefully wake up to some DMT tomorrow.

I know I have made some mistakes with this extraction, but I have learnt more from doing this myself than I could have if I read for another 6 months.

I still have another 2 kg of leaves left so if I get a worthwhile amount of product I will extract some more from the remaining plant material.

So after getting Home today, I had a look at the Shellite solution, and there seems to be some small crystals in there, not a huge amount but a bit. I think I lost some DMT when I did a D-Limonene pull that ended up as black sludge.

So after doing this I have decided to give it another go, but this time I will make sure I only use Shellite and try to use as little as possible so that my solution is saturated as much as it can be.

form the things that have been posted elsewhere, Acacia confusa also has NMT alkaloids in it. NMT does not crystallize very well, so that's the yellow you see and the crystals are the DMT.
when you just let naptha evaporate you get a mix of NMT and DMT goo (NMT keeps the crystallization form happening). NMT does have some desirable effects though. just filter out the crystals with out evaporating the naptha. then evaporate the naptha and you have a mix.

Do you happen to know the alkaloid content of the leaves? Most people either extract the root bark or trunk bark. You may pull a lot more oils/fats out of the leaves, but that is just speculation.

Honestly I have no idea, but according to some threads and one or two extractions done by people online it is estimated between .3-.4%

Correct me if I'm wrong but that is around the 3 gram mark if that is the case on 1 kg of material. Now I understand that that is not a lot but I didn't have to kill the tree to get the leaves and in a year I could do another harvest on the tree. (Sustainability is why I am trying to grow Acacia Acuminata as at 1.5% in the leaves per kg of material on an efficient extraction I should be able to get as much as 15 grams)

Well, I got caught up in a mescaline extraction that was pretty disappointing so hopefully tomorrow I will get back to my DMT extraction. (Why couldn't they teach this stuff in high school chemistry )
