So if one is having troubles with yellow product that is "chunky/clumpy" and sometimes runny, what are some tips to ensure separation of plant fats from spice?

Thank you. Very happy

Sorry, it should be added: the problem seems to be non-polar solvent is retaining the yellow color/substance that we are trying to remove.

Thanks! Smile

Probably related to either the type of solvent or the amounts of solvent you're using. It needs to be aliphatic naphtha, without any aromatics mixed in (such as xylene etc).

The other thing is using 30ml warm solvent per gram of impure DMT (and doing another 10-20ml pull to get more actives but freeze separately because this will be more impure). If you're using more solvent, its not gonna separate the goo.

Hope it helps! All of this is written in the FAQ Smile

OK. I skimmed the FAQ but must have missed this part. As little solvent as possible. Gotcha.

Thanks!
