So introduction time...

I might be a newbie on this forum, but I have a moderate bit of experience already with extracting the spice and traversing hyperspace. I've always done a STB MHRB extraction, and after the first time or two experiencing my home extracted spice, added a basified water wash to the process to clean up any lye, etc. I never sell my spice, but if someone asks to buy some, I'll typically just give them a half gram or so with a lot of warnings and advice to do their research before trying to blast off.

I don't know why, but whenever I decide to smoke the spice, I'm almost always at least a little tipsy. I can only imagine that the alcohol steels my mind against the knowledge that I'm about to kick my own ass into a completely new world. I still always get those pre-trip jitters; that feeling like half an hour after you've eaten your shrooms, and things are definitely off baseline but not psychedelic at all yet, and you're just kinda left sitting there in limbo, waiting for things to really get going already but you're nervous about how much you ate and that uncertainty of a perfect trip starts to run around your mind. So I always get those, but I'm guessing the alcohol calms me a bit. The only downside of tripping while a little buzzed is that as hard as it is to remember everything while only on DMT, adding alcohol to the mix makes it that much harder.

Anyway, I really should say how much of an incredible help this forum has been for me during my first steps into kitchen chemistry. The community here is excellent, and matches my usual desire to find a small, focused forum of dedicated and friendly individuals. It makes it feel like I'm "coming home" every time you log in. Cheers!

Greetings!

You sound a bit like me in the sense that it takes a little extra motivation to get me to do it, almost something that induces a mild naivity towards what I'm about to experience. Honest-to-God newbiness is something I miss, just because I could dive in having no idea what I was getting into, and now that I've been there and done that a few times, it's next to impossible to just "get" myself to do it (in fact, I haven't blasted off since I ran out of weed about a month ago).

I could definitely "get" myself to take other, milder psychedelics without too much effort, but DMT, I'm at the point where if I'm going to go, it needs to be flat-out inspired, versus essentially coercing myself to do it. It's all about the baggage and vibes that you're going to bring up with you, because on the human vibratory level, you can't help but bring something up. Might as well make it good.

Dunno where I was going with that, but glad to have you on board! These forums are awesome, there's a level of classiness here that is consistent all around, and the information is invaluable. I'm still learning a lot, haha.
