Hello, everyone!
It was suggested that I should write an introduction essay, and i thought, why not? But please note, that english is not my native language, so i might make some gramatical mistakes.
I would like to write about my first psychedelic experience, which was also my first step to become who i am now, and eventually led me here.
It happened a few years ago, on new year's eve. At that time i did not have any experience except for smoking pot for a couple of times. On new year's eve i rolled one moderate joint (mixed with tobacco) and smoked it a bit before midnight. I think i should mention that i drank some coke during the night, and that once in a blue moon drinking coke induces some very mild allergic reaction, that comes and goes within minutes. It might have been the trigger or the catalyst for the events. It's like a light itching in the top of my stomach and inside the back of my neck, but other than that, nothing had ever happened. Except for this ominous night. About half an hour later i began to feel that familiar itch, paired up with a pleasant tingling in my ankles, navel, maybe even in my wrists. I remember this sensation intensify with the music, and than the most amazing, most awesome thing happened, which was way beyond my comprehension. I know it might sound crazy, but that feeling was pretty much what i can call multiple orgasms in my nipples. The most intense bodily sensation i ever felt, i could not stay put, started to rock myself back and forth, occasionally laughed out loud, and having a hard time googling if this kind of "orgasm" really existed. I hadn't heard anything like it before, it was terrifying, and after a few minutes started to feel overwhelming. It was so intensely good, it was almost bad. Then i zoned out. On the lower edge of my perception i could still feel my body sitting on my sofa, but my mind was in another space, a place like a grove or a garden. I "saw" trees and shrubs, maybe some ruins of a column, and a rocky wall. In front of me stood a human-like entity, her skin was glossy golden, or just nicely tanned maybe. She had this sullen look in her eyes, but i wouldn't say she was malevolent. We tried to communicate, but my mind felt numb, i don't know if i managed to ask any questions, or if she answered.
Then this vision slowly faded away, but the extreme bodily sensation lasted till the next day, at noon i could still feel it echo in my body.
I was baffled, amazed, terrified, and many other things. I interpreted her sight as one of the Muses, but shortly i stayed with the possibility that she might have been a hindu goddess. That was the time i started my never-ending "research", i read loads of books about mythologies, deities, and somehow arrived to shamanism and entheogens. Years have passed, and now i'm sharing this experience with you, even though i have only talked about it to a handful of people. Hope you found it interesting, and thanks for reading Smile

Thanks for sharing that story. I'm glad you had a good first psychedelic experience. What did you conclude about the Goddess? Was she a figment of your imagination, a classical mythological figure, a personal deity?

This sounds EXACTLY like one of the first psychedelic experiences I ever had, which was induced by a weed-salvia mixture. Was it only weed and tobacco you had smoked? If so, that is an impressive psychedelic reaction.
Every day I am thankful that I was introduced to psychedelic drugs.

The identity of the Goddess is still an open question for me. When this happened I was in my sophomore year, majoring in classical philology, so I was familiar with ancient greek and roman mythology, probably that's why I first interpreted her as a Muse. I don't really know why I changed my mind and looked for alternatives in hindu mythology - without luck. It's been like 4 years now, but haven't seen her again; I might not made the best first impression Smile It never crossed my mind, that it was only my imagination, the hole experience was so alien and intense that it added some out-of-this-world qualities to it.

It was only the usual mj-tobacco mixture. Before that night, i never had any strange reaction to it, only during one of my first mj buzz when i had a short period of synesthesia. I tried, of course, to repeat this event many times, with the same and higher doses, i even bought the same brand of coke, but nothing like it. A couple of times I managed to feel similar bodily sensations, but only slighter.
