I'm Kinda new to all this and my friends have been doing and trying to extract the Acacia - black, and longfollia as it's a pest in our parts.
can some one Please point me in the rite direction on how to prepare the tree bark?
do I simply tell them to do the freeze and thor process and run it through the blender frozen until powdered ? or is there more to it than that?, like the MHRB I've studied how it's done now,
Is the root bark better than the tree bark? and why?
There using KCB shellite witch from what I read on the MSDS is the rite stuff, light naphtha 100% containing: n-Hexane 110 54 3 and e-thylbenzene.
Heptane and hexane. are they the same?

So my mates done this as his first project this time.... STB turns out it's the Noman's TEK
. Collected tree bark from what where pretty sure is black wattle.
. while fresh, cut small and blended to almost powder.
. weighed out 100g and 150g placed bark in 2 jars.
. mixed lye (caustic soda) to the same weight as bark 100g and 150g to 15ml dist' water in Pyrex jug and add to bark.
. stirring with a stainless steel spoon to mix for at least an hour. one over night.
. add shellite (cold the first couple of times be for finding better TEK to go off)
now on heated shellite and the last couple of times they sat the mixture jars in warm water baths be for been taken out to cool to room temperature to pull top.
. mix and sit to let 2 layers form 4 times at least.( the bumps/bubbles that form on the top of the bottom layer, do they go away after time and should my mate wait for this to happen before pulling the top layer?) with long times between mixes and pulls.
. placed all collected top layers (now bright yellow) in one Pyrex tray and in the freezer turned to MAX ( can it be to cold?)left over night.
. take tray out but no crystals, and where does all the shellite go? is the snowflake looking yellow stuff on the outside of the dish the DMT? or what we thought was just tiny ice crystal/water from the roof of freezer, when back to room temp just looked like a drop of water in with the yellow shellite and a couple of specks of bottom/lye layer..
