Hi all,

I am (sort of) brand new here. Admittedly I have been lurking and learning for several weeks now, soaking up all sorts of knowledge and information that is available on this site. Honestly, I wanted to become a contributor (though as of now, I know much less about all of this than most of you), so I made an account a few days ago in hopes to be more a part of the community. I would probably still label myself very much a noob, though I am not completely unfamiliar with the centering topic of the nexus. I've had four experiences with Dimitri, all of which seem to become increasingly interesting and revealing than the last. Each of my journeys has been positive, and though I've read several accounts of negative aspects, I, in my limited experience, have never felt frightened, scared, or alarmed. I have to be honest too that I have yet to experience some of the incredibly positive and encouraging scenarios many of you have described, but I hope to one day!

I won't bore you all with detailed logs of my experiences, as many and/or most of you probably already know exactly what goes on, or if you haven't, I assure you there are a multitude of informational posts already on this site that will be far more informative than what I could offer you. However, if for some reason someone wants to know, in detail, what its been like for me, PM me and I will be glad to share.

The first thing that sparked my interest was a reference to the Nexus from another site a few months ago. Historically I am not a substance user, aside from regular western medicines and a couple of beers while socializing with friends, so I was not immediately interested in anything that may harm my body, my mind, or my safety. As many you have written, Dimitri seems to have spiritual qualities that separate it from other substances. While I cannot compare to personal experiences with other things, many of the shared experiences here and elsewhere and other research I've done have convinced me that this is a very unique compound.

To step into this journey is exciting and very curious. To me it's almost like a “how far down into the rabbit-hole are you willing to go” kind of thing, and I've always (for better or for worse) been interested in seeing what's down there. Someone quoted Joe Rogan about what he sometimes says about DMT in that, “It's not for everyone, but it's for you”. I think he describes it excellently.

Anyhow, I am glad to continue to soak up all of everyone's knowledge here, and I am grateful to have found this place.

Welcome!

Sounds like your here to learn! I say burst in the door and strike up some conversation. As far as a rough DMT experience goes, they do happen. I have had a few. Only one of them was very not fun, but it wasnt filled with negativity. It was just difficult in a very intense way.

So it sounds like you havent really experienced any other psychedelics. Do you plan on trying mushrooms or anything else?
