Hey quick question. My entire life my parents have had these cacti which grow extremely rapidly. They started with one cutting and over the course of 25 years or so it's gone rampant. My parents have cactus cuttings all over the house. These 2 here are the most mature, and I've attached a few pictures. I'm curious if it's at all possible to ID these cacti with the pictures? I don't plan on consuming them, so no worries--I don't need a super specific ID but just a general idea if you've got one. I understand with just pictures it can be difficult to ID anything. A bit of background--my parents received the cactus from a friend as a wedding gift or something like that. He said he "obtained it by digging it up from the desert"--he's from Texas. I don't know the guy personally, but my parents say they vaguely remember him mentioning something about the legal status of the cactus being questionable. I'm pretty confident it's not San Pedro or Peruvian Torch or any kind of cacti containing any goodies, but I'm curious nonetheless. I'm no expert but I don't think it is a trichocereus. It doesn't have a V line on the upper part of the areoles. Still, they have a nice blue hue

Thanks for the replies. I figured they're not trich's but I didn't know if it was feasible to get any kind of ID. But again thanks, at least now I know for sure that they don't have any goodies. I've always assumed that but for a while I've been wondering if I might have been sitting on a gold mine my whole life without ever realizing it. Appreciate it though guys! And if anyone has any kind of general idea as to what they might be I'd love to hear your thoughts--simply for the sake of curiosity and my own expanded knowledge. Maybe some sort of Myrtillocactus? (¯`'·.¸(♥)¸.·'´¯ But suddenly you're ripped into being alive. And life is pain, and life is suffering, and life is horror, but my god you are alive and it is spectacular!
