Hello Rockroxx,
Welcome to the Nexus. Thanks so much for writing up that Introduction Essay. It's a great way to start to let to get folks to get to know you a bit better. And hopefully, via replies and other posts for you to get to know us.
It almost sounds like you have consumed cannabis but no other psychedelics and are now planning on trying DMT . . . Did I understand that correctly? If so, I would respectfully recommend starting with something other than DMT for an initial psychedelic experience, such as mushrooms . . . .
It also sounds like you are not extracting your own DMT and like perhaps your friends are not either. Planning on some other, lighter psychedelic experiences might enable you the time and wherewithal to do your own extraction . . . personally extracted DMT is the best, as your know what was done to it when and why. You have a sense of how pure it is, etc. Extraction teks for a plethora of plant sources can be found in the wiki.
Regardless, I'd encourage you to grow or get some mushrooms and try that first. Try various dosages up to and including some larger ones. This will give you a vague sense of what you may be in for - for me large mushroom doses have qualities similar to them to low to mid range DMT doses.
Since you've read all those Erowid reports you probably understand that DMT has a big body load and also that folks easily believe they are dead and/or out of body on it. Hopefully you have also read about some tactics for dealing with some of these issues, such as breathing, meditation, letting go/surrender, singing, etc. . . . .
I cannot tell you where to consume your DMT, other than to say, you should feel very safe. You may go out of body. You want your body to be safe if you are not in it. Though the trip itself is short on the clock it can feel like forever and can take a long time to integrate afterwards. I do hope you will treat it like an entheogen rather than a recreational high. Your call of course.
Okay enough of this. I do want you to feel welcomed here so sorry if it seems like I picked on you a bit. I just want folks to be safe and comfortable. . . .
Please take some time to take a good look around this huge place - it was assembled over a period of years by folks who really care.
Again, welcome to the Nexus.
