I have several BRF jars going right now, and they're all doing really well, except for 1. This one in particular has mycelium growing at 3 of the 4 spots I injected at. I do remember the plunger sticking during that 'noc, so it's entirely possible that that teh 4th hole didn't get anything shot into it at all.

My question is will the 2 far sides eventually wrap around and form a strong attachment, or does this kind of error render the cake unusable?

It's possible to colonize using ome innoculation point, so this should be fineSmile
