Hey, I'm kind of getting tired of the same basic questions that can be found by reading any tek, any thread in the extraction forum, or just a simple google search.

I propose that we make up a list of links that are required reading for any noob.

I would love to be able to respond to a post "how much lye do I need to add" with a link to the noob required reading link list.

We could have a small link section for: rules, extractions, posting etiquete, recrystalization, basic chemistry, and the supplier thread.

All of this in one handy stickied link that can be copy and posted to any question that is easily found on the nexus.

I have no issues with answering specific questions that might be a little harder to search for, but the same question 3 times a day gets old very quickly. When it is obvious that the person has spent no time looking for the answer I don't feel very inclinded to help him/her out.

Anyone else think this is a good idea?

I am certifiably insane, as such all posts written by me should be regarded as utter nonsense or attempts to get attention.

I don't know SWIM and personally don't trust him at all. If SWIM is posting, most likely I will not respond...as I said, I don't trust the guy. YOU I trust, but never SWIM.

I think it's a great idea. Compile some useful links, and sticky this thread.

I think the first step is reading the basic chemistry thread before even reading any of the teks. That thread is already sticky, but here is the link anyway http://dmt-nexus.me/foru....aspx?g=posts&t=2033

I started a thread on 'Chemical supplies' (rather than raw product which is found in the 'Suppliers' thread) because that's the thing SWIM had real frustration with as a noob. It hasn't really taken off so far unfortunately, but anyway here's the link:

Everything I write is fictional roleplay. Obviously! End tribal genocide: www.survival-international.org Quick petitions for meaningful change: www.avaaz.org/en/
End prohibition: www.leap.cc www.tdpf.org.uk And "Feeling Good" by David D.Burns MD is a very useful book.

I absolutely support this idea! Maybe you could make one post with subjects and subsubjects.

for example somtething like this, but more exact.

The starters Thread
Please read through this manual first before asking questions twice.

1. Getting started
1.1 Laws
1.2 natural DMT-Sources
etc...

2. The Extractions
2.1 Alkaloid-Chemistry in General (to understand what actually happens on the molecular-level)
2.2 Equipment and needs (explain every necessary supply in its chemical and physical aspect and where to get them from and especially the variations that could be used of any supply)
2.2 STB
2.3 A/B
etc...

3. The Product
3.1 cleaning
3.2 storing
etc...

i mean by this really a step to step guide with links. Maybe it takes a while for the new ones (like me) to read it, but they should be able to know the most basic stuff out of that lecture. The good thing is, its all in one thread, linked to others but its a good overview.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, if they get upset with you for criticizing them, you will be a mile away and you will have their shoes.
