Hi everybody!
I recently did my first extraction from MHRB & this was my favourite crystal
It was fairly small, roughly 1cm x 1cm.



Sorry about the shonkiness - wobbly hands plus slightly ropey phone camera.
I'm sure we've all been there.

P.S. I hope I've not broken any rules here..I don't think I have. I'll happily take a telling off if I have.

Yeah, I think it's really pretty too
I used noman's STB tek.
EDIT: I didn't do a freeze precip. - open dish air evap.

Then redissolved & washed the first harvest in sodium carbonate followed by a slow air evaporation - the dish mostly covered with clingfilm.

I'm really glad you like it. I was quite affected by the beauty.

how could anyone not like it???

i keep meaning to grow some crystals but i never seem to get aroud to it, i think i will get on it this weekend.

It's made me want to just grow some "ordinary" crystals too

Very handsome crystal, nice work. It is interesting how the substance 'knows' how to align itself in such an elegant form.
