hello im new here. a few months ago a friend of mine whos actually my boss gave me a book by terence mckenna called food of the gods and that is when i became interested in DMT i have tried it 1 time b4 that about 6 months ago and had an awesome experience however it was not in the best environment. after starting to read that book i once again took intrest in psychoactives having not done any for several years. reason being i wanted to drastically change my life style and thers nothing that gets me back on track than a good psychadelic experience. i am a former heroin/fentanyl addict and always have a hard time staying away for the past 4 months i have been on suboxone but 1 month ago when i started my DMT quest i quit .
it was an awesome experience not only smoking the DMT but finding the trees doing the extraction was a whole experience by itself actually trying my own DMT was just a huge bonus i am studying to become a chemist so i am always looking for new things to experiment with. first i dfistilled my own alchohol then made some parillin and sarsaparillin distilled nutmeg oil . many other things i cant think of right now. soon i will try to still absinth. DMT is an amazing thing and the reason why i joined this sight is because i dont have anybody to share this with my girlfriend does not do drugs and i feel most of the people i know that would do DMT with me do not take it seriosly and view it as another high. infact i shared some with one other person but when asking them why they wanted to do it after they told me 'to get really high and see some cool shit' everyone has ther own reasons but i feel that 'to get really high and see some cool shit' is disrespectful to the power that DMT contains.
i have not had a break threw yet tho i feel like i got close for example the only thing i was aware of my body was my breath.

You might have a hard time studying to be a chemist if you managed to miss that many vital grammar lessons. "b4". laul.

spelling has nothing to do with chemistry and if i write lol would you prefer i right laugh out loud i did not realize that grammar or proper English is a must on an online forum.

so my first extraction i decieded to do an A/B extraction sence STB just seems like its for when you just want to do it fast A/B make way more sence.

FIRST ATTEMPT:
i didnt do anyones tech i just boiled the bark that i harvested myself 250 grams in 2 seperate 1000 ml FBF just enouph water to fully cover up the bark ph udjusted to aprox 2 with HCL the mixture was boiled for 45 minute twice(glass container only). i cannot get PH strips wear i live so i made some by boiling red cabbage in some water for an hour then soaking coffee filters in the cabbage juice letting them dry (works pretty good and is a fun project) then basified to ph 12-13 and pulled with naptha while hot and wash with sodium carbonate solution. results were a yelowish oil. i was kinda dissapointed with no crystals but after it dried and i smelled that all to familier smell we all know of i was verry happy. the effects were wonderful however every now and then id get a hit that made my lips numb/tingle (residual lye?)

2ND ATTEMPT:
later on i decided to start using acetic acid(vinegar) so that i could do larger batches because i do not have any RBF bigger than 1000ml and we all know or should know not to put HCL(i have an insane amount of bark) and i dont like having to boil HCL you have to wear goggles no matter what(safety always first) and a gass mask if your in a unventilated room
this time i used 500 grams 1800 ml H20 200ml vinegar boiled it 4 seperate times hour 15mins each time and reduced the liquid to aprox 1000ml (basically very similar to thick lights teck)i will soon post pics of my procedure ASAP. the best tip ive got from this site so far is to precipitate the DMT at room temperature this is currently the only way i am able to get crystals. everytime i freeze precip i get goo wich isnt bad but wanting to be a chemist i thrive for purity.
