Hello! I recently watched a documentary on DMT, and it piqued my interest. I'm here to learn more about it before I take the plunge.

Why don't you tell us a bit more about what brought you here (besides documentary), what you want to learn, what your experience with psychs is in general is, what do you want to gain from dmt, etc etc.

Give us something to sink our teeth into

My apologies, I'm never really good at these open ended essays. Thanks for your patience and prodding encouragement.

Actually the first time I became interested about DMT was a couple years ago after watching the film Enter The Void. I researched it a bit at the time but sort of forgot about it after that.

I had experimented with shrooms a few times a couple of decades ago, and also peyote once, but those experiences never really had much of an impact, nor did they make me want to delve into this any further.

Anyhow, seeing this documentary got me interested in this seemingly magical substance again. I asked a friend of mine about it, someone who has extensive experience with illicit substances, hoping they would be able to inform me some more however they said they've never tried it.

So I went looking online and came across this forum, and here I am.

After reading some of the trip reports and experiences others have had, I feel this is something I really want to try for myself. I'm at a stage in life where I'm open to exploring the possibilities of my mind, not to get high or escape or anything, but to see everything there is, if that makes sense.
