So swim happened to be the winner of an auction on ebay for a lovely little m.hostilis cutting.
Now, heres the 1 million dollar question; seeing as how this sacred plant usually doesnt grow (in nature) too far north of mexico. Could a central california bee make use of this outside in the ground or would some sort of extra measures need to be taken(ie; greenhouse)??

Because california isnt too shabby for its climate but it isnt as sweltering and humid as brazil or even mexico. So how would you go about getting the cutting (which came rooted) to thrive in the central californian climate?

Thanks for your advice ahead of time and if you have never grown or know nothing about this subject please state that in your reply.

I'm proud of you.

I think it will do just fine in a pot, bring it indoors if it gets too cold.

Mimosa hostilis grows in dry shrub lands, so don't water it too much! I'd imagine it likes heat and well draining soil!

Thank you for respecting the plant-spirit by growing the botanical!!!

WARNING: DO NOT INGEST ANY BOTANICAL WHICH YOU HAVE NOT FULLY RESEARCHED AND CORRECTLY IDENTIFIED!!!

thanks. I actually planned on doing a johnny appleseed ,much like whenever swim used to get a good cannabis mother plant and clone it several times. But , unfortunatly the same people swim would feel just fine handing over canna-clones to, I dont feel they could/would respect it as much as they should/could. So maybe I'll just keep this baby alive for now and think about cloning it in the far away future.
thank you though, I feel the same way about this plant.

Cloning trees and woody plants can prove to be problematic. i have several trees started indoors and they do just fine under HPS.
