Shivers of giddiness traveled up and down my body as I drove home from work yesterday. I was excited because I felt that my mind was in that perfect Zen state to take the high dive into my consciousness. My heart was fluttering, almost dizzy with anticipation. In the rearveiw mirror I noticed that my eyes were dilated. This was without the use of any exogenous chemicals. Serotonin and dopamine swirled in my brain richocheting and diving through memories and imaginations. As I drove, I kept picturing elaborate fantasy scenarios playing out around me. I made love to a beautiful woman in the purple Mazda on my right. I picked up cars and moved them like a strong man superhero. I melted with the streetlights and shop signs.

My drive home daydreams were getting me in the mood for something greater to come.

When I arrived home I knew that I had to fill my house with as many good vibes as I could. I put my dog outside with a large bowl of water and a toy designed as a puzzle box that hid food inside. I then proceeded to light a stick of inscence in every room of my house. Lavender, opium, dragon's blood and Egyptian musk slowly permeated the air. I made my bed of blue and grey blankets and arranged my pillows in a triangle to symbolize the pineal gland. I turned on a light above my bed that pulses and changes color to every color in the spectrum. I turned on a frisbee that changes color and placed it on my sink in my bathroom. I dimmed the lights in my living room.

With all of this done I felt ready to take the plunge. To get my self comfortable I took a large cushion from my lov seat and situated it into a closet so that I could lay back should I be overtaken by the visions brought on by the DMT. I then prepared my chalice. Chamomile vanilla, the sacred spice and peppermint sandwiched in the bowl of a small green bubbler.

I sat on the cushion in my closet lotus style and began to take my first hit. With embers cherried on top I inhaled slow and deep. The mintyness of the pepperment tickled my throat while the sweetness of the DMT numbed my lips. I exhaled. Without hesitation I sparked up hit number two. With this things began to shake I could feel my body twitching and melding with the oncoming rush. Objects moved to locations they couldn't possible be. I knew that this was going to be huge. I made my best effort to take hit number three. Deep and heavy. I could feel the crystals ride there way through my airways expanding them as they went. They picked themselves up in my bloodstream and began to pop and explode in my brain.

I can't sit sit still.

The door to the closet spilled open.

I stood up and left the darkness of a back bedroom. When I walked into my living room I could see only one thing, my guitar, but it was more than that. With sober eyes the guitar is a concert body Martin made of mohogany. With DMT sparkling my vision, it was everything. the entire room became the instrument. The hole where tones resonate was a great black cosmic void, not menacing, but entrancing in it's mystery. The wood had shifted to a form so alien that it could hardly be considered from planet earth. It was a vibrant red and brown. The frets themselves were gold and stretched about the whole room like the webbings of a musical arachnoid diety. The dots that marked key frets were great symbols, markers of some greater code language.

I approched the black void of the resonance chamber. My fingers stretched towards it like tendrils of bright neon orange reached out and lifted up the instrument. They began to dance. Music filled the air. Singing and humming with vibrations so hypnotic and entrancing yet so alien. There was a bluesyness to them, bending and warping with melodies almost primal. Then I lost myself. I became a mandala, yet a mandala of frets and fingers. Of notes and melodies. The center of the guitar was the center of this space and out of it, the notes and melodies lept from the darkness of the void. 360 degrees there was nothing but the guitar and dancing digits. A maelstrom of melodies. I played for what felt like an eternity lost in the ecstacy of music.

Then I set the guitar down.

I found myself again. The mandala disappeared and a candyland of colors decorated my room. Liquid greens, earthy reds, cartoony yellows and thin ribbons of purple enveloped the space. I decided to open the door and let my dog in. When I did this, the trees outside of my house began to fidget. They stretched towards the sky and further on higher and higher towards infinity. They began to weave their branches with each other in a vivid electric blues as they into space. Their trunks were a bright vivid red they sky beyond them was swirling orange.

I stepped back insde and decided to take a bath.

When I made it to the tub I realized that I was in another world, a world of beauty and decadence, like the great feast prepared of the Ghost of Christmas present in a Christmas Carol. Except my hedonism was not sought in a large banquet, but in a bath. I started the water and bubbles began to fractal and pop in the water. Comforting and welcoming me to take a splash and bask in it's glory. I stripped down and jumped in. In this foamy ocean in my bathroom a myriad colors spilled towards me. Yellow, purple, green and blue. They zigzagged like lightning bolts through the bubbles and through the tiles. I settled down in the water, laid back and let the radiance of a beautiful trip cascade over me.

Then I came down, toweled myself off, put some clothes back on and breathed a shivering sigh of extasy.

"Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves. Here’s Tom with the weather."

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Sounds like a great experience psychelectric. I love the interaction with self-made music. What was the Egyptian music you were listening to? Do you have a link?

Thanks, yeah it was awesome. As far as Egyptian music, I'm not sure what you mean by that, I wasn't listening to any Egyptian music. The only music was the music I played while on DMT. If you mean my reference to "Egyptian musk", that's a scent of insence. It smells really good, I'm a big fan of inscence as I have the human equivaliant of a Bloodhound nose. Laughing

Though that being said if you want really cool ancient music I can post a link for one. This song is considered to be one of the oldest songs ever composed, if not the oldest. Ancient Song. It's from Sumaria.

On my next trip I may set this up as background noise. Big grin

ah, I misread it. Probably a subconscious thing combining two of my favorite areas of hyperspace: Egypt and music.
