First question to pose on this site, just wanted to precursor by saying that it is an amazing fountain of knowledge hosted by mature minds. Makes for a bloody refreshing change all round on the internet in 2013..

Anyways, I have taken my first tentative steps into hyperspace after waiting a decade since first finding out about dmt (I figured "when the time was right", seems that time is now)

After a couple of false starts, followed by a quick creation of "the machine" (a real boon) I have twice found myself at what I think people would refer to on here as "The Chrysanthemum" (while eyes closed) followed by being back in my room but getting shimmers of beings around me (first time was three Mayan type beings that were a cross between kids and those statues on the Indiana Jones movie, second time was a feminine being that again felt Mayan Aztec and one of those weird heads with tons of eyes like on 'A scanner darkly'. I should note I have no affinity to Mayan culture, if anything my own mind would be Egyptian or Arabic focused).

Anyways, while 'travelling' and 'arriving' at the chrysanthemum I noticed a large amount of sound (the room was quiet) which was basically descending tones, kind of like what you would get on TV test cards but lower, eventually getting very bassy and converging into something I cant really describe.

This brought me to wondering if anyone perhaps knew much about harmonics and the potential utilisation of frequencies, such as Solfeggio harmonics or binaural beats.. I would be eager to try this out myself in time but as someone just starting out (and with admitted spiritual inclinations and intentions) I want to get some kind of grasp of things before I attempt any kind of 'mental chicanery'
