I'm wondering if I can purchase some caapi or rue that i can use for daily microdosing for anxiety/depression/spirituality, which does not require me to do boiling or other special methods - that I can just ingest straight up to have the positive effect? If not then I'll just boil it, but if I can ingest a version of it straight up that would be preferred, only at least for the beginning.

No discussion on selling, buying, sourcing, acquiring, pricing, trading or smuggling of drugs

Familiarize yourself with the rules.

As far as your question is concerned: It depends. Rue seeds can be ingested as a whole but the plant matter is likely to make you purge. Caapi leaf can be smoked.

However, I would recommend that you brew a tea. For caapi vine you would need 3x 3 hours to get the most out of your actives. For rue you need 3x 30 minutes. I personally tend to brew for several doses because it's a time consuming activity, especially caapi. Reduce your tea to an amount that can be easily worked with and is easy to measure out your dose. I brewed a 1:1 caapi brew once and that was a very effective way of dosing. For micro doses you'd probably only need a shot glass or so.

Good luck.

OK, let me clarify... I know it may have sounded that way way -- but I'm not necessarily looking for a source. I'm wondering if caapi can be ingested and active without boiling or another extraction procedure(for example when it's an "extract" versus the whole plant powdered)? I'm interested in this for daily use...

Don't mean to break any rules here.

Sorry for being a bit anal on the rules, they are there to prevent bad things from happening to The Traveler, who as the administrator of this website will be held responsible if such activities were actively discussed on the site. I updated my initial post.
