if you can still smell or taste the acetone..try putting them on a flat piece of glass and chopping them up over and over again with a razor blade...SWIM does this to get most of the d-limonene out of his bufo..it takes awhile..but its easy..so just give it a try

i got an idea... would dissolving in a small amount of water and evaping the water work?? iv choped them the best i can and continue doing so but it seems less then effective "once youve locked yourself into a serious drug collection the tendency is to push it as far as you can..." - hunter s. thompson

i have found that crushing with a blunt object and chopping to remove most taste... you can sometimes smell solvent the first crush or two... i have dissolved a small amount in water and am now evaping the water in a dish ill update whenever the water dries and i taste it... seems to me this would work quite well at removing any trace solvent but we shall see.... Why don't you redissolve in hot naptha and then evap that, the acetone will evap before the naptha does? Here you!!! Gonnaenodaethat

No matter what SWIM did, if FASA retrieved fumarate were left in a sealed container for a while, once that container was opened, the odor of acetone was emitted. Once, SWIM was certain that he had removed all of it by crushing it and took it orally, and later, he burped up a bit of acetone. The only reliable way to remove traces of acetone is anything along the lines of this. SWIM'll be doing a more generalized writeup of this purification procedure in the near-future.
