Hello everyone. I was browsing around this morning and as I went through and read various posts in the CEL thread, I realized that there isn't really an area to go to that can clearly tell you what the law is in your state, in my case, Washington.

I went onto the web, and brought up the Washington State Legislature website which contains an active and frequently updated listing of RCW codes, in other words, the active laws and regulations in Washington. By starting this thread, I hope to make a centralized location where people can hopefully find a similar format for their state and post it onto here for informational purposes. I will post a couple links below, one to the main contents of the RCWs, and the other pointing specifically to a section titled Chapter 69.50 RCW UNIFORM CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES ACT.

By my posting this, I am not suggesting we do anything with this info other than learn it (for our respective state of course if in the US) and to understand the consequences if we are caught doing what we should have the right to do. I figure to combat and oppose a law, one should educate themselves first about the verbage and wording of a law, and to also notice how easy it is to twist these laws and their wording around in any situation, whether it be yourself in a defense or the state prosecuting you. This is no way intended as LEGAL ADVICE so read and interpret at your own risk!

Link to Revised Code of Washington (RCWs) - http://apps.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx You will want to focus specifcally on Title 69 FOOD, DRUGS, COSMETICS, AND POISONS and in there you can see the multiple listings, but specifcally, you'll notice 69.50 UNIFORM CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES ACT.

Specifically in here, you will focus on Title 21 FOOD AND DRUGS and in there you'll notice listing detailing our not-so-favorite drug policy in the States and giving the specific laws. I however cannot verify when this website was last updated so USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. For a current listing of the US law, go to http://uscode.house.gov/.

EDIT: The US Code website and other website listed to make it easier to read are having problems and have not been easy to use at all today. I will post an updated link once I find one. The Washington RCW is current though.
