Hi guys,

I hope everyone is well. I recently had an experience with 1.5 grams of local wavy caps and had a few questions.

I felt a little short of breath during the peak, is this normal with these little guys? I have journeyed with other kinds but never felt this.

Also I felt like these mushrooms very sort of like the dwarves and common people of the psychedelic realms whereas Ayahuasca, and other Cactus were more like royalty. The mushrooms seemed to have much clearer "regular" personality traits such as being annoyed, petty, and other things like this which I never felt with Ayahuasca or Cactus who seemed above "petty" emotions.

The mushroom fellas felt more like they had a "get on with it" attitude and were extrememly sturdy fellows and survivalists without much romantacism or flights of fancy.

Is this just my projection on these guys or can anyone relate?

Dont get me wrong I think the traits I felt were very honorable and invaluable for life, but just not as grandeous as those traits I felt with cactus and Ayahuasca.
Both are necessairy for existance, and equaly valuable, just wondering if anyone else ever had a similar feeling about mushrooms.

Also is it possible, that every mushroom specy, (or individual mushrooms!) has a distinct personality so that its impossible to know exactly "who" you will be dealin with when you journey?

Thanks!!!

I have more experience with this one mushroom than any other, and I have quite a bit of mushroom experience.

You may be right, about a more "common folk" type of energy from them, but, to me, they have a heart of gold. I feel as though after about 10 or so trips with them, they really opened up and accepted me. They do have a sense of humor, and this is something to not forget. To me, this is what cactus and DMT lack. I have laughed with cactus and DMT, but never like I've laughed with mushrooms (My last trip with them combined with rue had me to the closest I've ever been to dying from laughing). Most of the time their sense of humor is fun and goofy, but they have a dark twisted side, like any mushroom.

Certainly treat them with respect, like any powerful entheogen, but keep in mind, I'm quite certain they'd never try to seriously screw you. They do like having their fun, though.
Be an adult only when necessary.

I haven't had the chance to eat the ones I found this year but it will be my first cyan experience when I do.

Every time I take mushrooms I feel a general heaviness or congestion in my chest that is slightly uncomfortable but never a real problem. Even though I haven't had cyans yet or ayahuasca, I can relate to feeling like the mushroom is more of a dirty peasant than proper royalty such as cactus, although you should never underestimate the power of the common person...especially in large numbers Pleased You could say they have street smarts that can match any book smarts out there.

Hopefully I will have more to say about cyans once I eat these little guys Very happy

Thanks for the replies guys Smile

Mr. Peabody, yes I felt as though when the journey happened it was like.."wait who are you and why are you in my conciousness?" from both sides, like we were both sort of uncomfrotable with each other.

Then towards the end of the night, we were feeling more comfortable with each other, so maybe it'll take some time till I learn to navigate the mushroom space and feel warmer feelings towards these guys (and vice versa).

Funny what you say about sense of humour, I definately didnt find that Cactus had a sense of humour, though Ayahuasca so-so depending, but more not.

Wax good luck with your exploration!

For me it was like this until I got deeper into the stuff and now mushrooms feel like nothing other than pure golden holiness. Of course a pressure in the body on the comeup if you're not dieting.

Interesting with the different character traits of the mushrooms though, for me the difference between liberty caps and cubensis is like black and white for instance. Can anyone of you say more about the characteristics of shrooms like copelandia, azurescens and mexicans? Maybe even some of you got to try more exotic strains?

EDIT: Oh yeah, for me Ayahuasca has a brilliant sense of humor as well, but more mature than mushrooms Big grin

Thanks for that.

Ill have to see, probably my experience with them will change over time. Also, my diet could have been better so there is that as well.

Next time I plan on taking it a bit more seriously.

I tried cubes, and they were quite different than these guys. I found the cubes more friendly, but maybe it was just circumstances surrounding it.

Onwards..
