T soaked 50 ground woodrose seeds in naptha for one night. the naptha changed to a yellow tint. the naptha was sucked off, then 3 pulls with acetone were done. the acetone did not change color. each soak was about and hour. the acetone was evaporated, and a yellowish crystalline(ish) resin was left behind. there was not much resin. the resin was mixed into 5ml of ph 3-4 citric acid solution. T stirred and stirred, but it didnt look like anything was dissolving. maybe some did, i dont know. T ended up adding another 5ml citric acid solution to the resin to see if it would dissolve more. it did not. i ended up filtering the solution and discarding the solids. now T will get a blacklight to see if the solution glows. 1ml of vanilla extract was added to the solution to dissolve any left over solids that didnt get filtered. (i didnt have any vodka)
