Quote:1. Who, or what, is "God"
Well, that's
The Big Question. I feel that God is essentially the
Unified Field of Being, upon which all of existence and non-existence, are overlaid (if one chooses to name this presence as this or that). IMO, humanoids touch this field through the lens of
The Godhead, which is the full blossom of sentient understanding, dawning within incarnate self. It is effectively, a union of individual conscious-awareness within the web of non-individuated Brahman.
Still, the Supreme Being remains beyond proper quantification or definition... but feel that it's greatest humanly perceivable manifestation and attribute, can be tagged,
The Grid. You know, that Omniscience encompassing all of this universe and beyond the boundaries of self and other, the limits of our perceptual ability.
Based purely on an intuition that magikally pops into my head, I have sensed a frequency of
Divine Mind, which is supra-intelligence and a wholly transcendental, expansive vibration of love. An infinite totality, one which is able to shine effulgently, free of the dichotomy of subject and object polarities.
It has been said that "God" in it's formless aspect, is the mysterious Tao, that unbound current flowing eternally throughout all of being/non-being (and immanent within all potentiality of being and becoming). Tis the Indivisible force masquerading as the many... and out of this fulcrum, all things are created. And therefore, what then is not God?
Quote:2. What is life/consciousness?
Isn't that sort of, kind of... the same question as #1? Just kidding, my friend. But I do see exactly where you are coming from. Perhaps we reflect the life force in vastly different ways, granted, but the energy is the same wave, endlessly morphing. I submit that God is absolute and we are relative expressions of the very same stuff (despite appearances and our conceptual projections, as isolated selves). Deep within our core selves, we are the
Universal Awareness awakening within the subjectivity of an individual soul vortex.
The Awakening of the Omniself, so to speak.
Quote:3. Do we have some sort of "goal" here?
If one chooses to create a goal or a purpose for existential being, especially post re-birthing, that's just fine by me. It's all good. We are free to manifest a predestined purpose and propose justification for our own existence. In truth, I suspect that we are existent beings to bloom in our own unique way.
So, it's only natural to honor the vision of another soul reflection. Yes? I personally believe that reality as it is, needs no intended purpose, nor is it an attainable goal. In the living present, this very instant of the
HERE & NOW... there is no beginning, nor any ending to this exact moment. It remains non matter how our paradigm shifts.
Quote:4. What is this higher power that we so often encounter on DMT trips?
What is always right under our noses. DMT and the other classic psychedelics facilitate our discovery of what already is. There seems to be an almost spontaneous attunement to the universal vibration, a tone of higher understanding and Divinity, ringing-out in scintillation, an oscillating call towards a holistic balance and harmonious acceptance of all we perceive. Everything is the higher power, regardless of appearance, form or the absence of form.
Quote:5. Is it our job/right to even ask these questions?
It is if we decide to accept it as such a linear process. We are hard-wired to desire to know more, be more and perceive more than we already do. We seek something immune to any veil of illusion or mirrored refractions of our mortal mirages. Why is this so? Because IMO, we are expressing the universal need to arrive , exist and return back into the Void.
No philosophy or esoteric metaphysical ideology can fully contain the infinitude of this state and level of Omniscience. We can but pause just long enough to stop our minds, thus fuse our intention, by way of direct immersion and so... cease to exist as separate parts of the whole.
Quote:6... What happens IF/when we find out?
"Before enlightenment, chopping wood and carrying water. After enlightenment, chopping wood and carrying water." Is not becoming spiritually awakened also an acceptance of tending to our challenges in life and our organic dilemmas? Finding the
Middle Way, the proverbial "higher road", in a manner of speaking, seems like a good plan. Deciding for ourselves, which path draws us into the horizon line beyond of our own unique paradigmatic, self equations, as open, transforming individuals.
So I say, "Let us dance together joyfully!"
There is no self to which I cling, for I am one with everything.
