I am a mature, middle-aged seeker from Africa who looks forward to contributing to this forum.
I have personally had a singular breakthrough experience with the Spirit Molecule (which I will post about in the Experiences Thread).
Currently I am kind-of relegating exploration of non-ordinary realms to the sideline as I am currently focusing my energy + attention on building my freelance publishing + design business, apart from my daytime position in the industry.
I Love my +4 year-long partner, reading/researching, film, designing/creating, exploring + Nature. I hope to travel to Gabon/Congo/West Africa, Central + South America in the near future before starting a family.
I have experimented with Entheogens + Plant Teachers throughout my life and learned valuable lessons, had profound insights + along with the ecstatically beautiful, harrowing realisations + visions (I will be posting UK 's' rather than US 'z'Pleased which I deem to be the Balance of Life/the Light + the Dark, which make up the dualistic framework we find ourselves in on Earth.
I am an open-minded Christian with a predilection for Shamanic/Indigenous views on life + existence. Santo-Daime does not appeal to me however. From a daily spiritual point of view, I like to work on/practice generating positive feelings by my relationship with the Divine to attract the Universe's Benevolent Higher Powers.
I thank the Creator (He/She/It) to be alive, to be blessed with life + to be part of the journey with you all at this time + place in human history + I look forward to the challenges + opportunities these times may afford us.
May we find common ground experientially + continue forging a beneficial relationship with Spirit of Ayahuasca + it's highly benevolent influence on humans.

In Love + Light
Peace

Thank you.
A friend with alot of experience who also sat for me did a pure white extraction from Jurema/Mimosa hostilis.
Do you perhaps know of any family members of Acacia or other indigenous African plants with similar high active content?
Cheers
Peace

Hello ObsidianKnife,

Welcome to the Nexus. That was a good Introduction - thank you so much for sharing. I've noticed you dove right in here at Nexus, in particular in Welcome Area posting and I want to also thank you for that. I'm going ahead and casting a Yes vote for promotion and encourage other members to do the same.

I would encourage you to take a good look around, but I bet you already have. Our plant research areas might interest you in particular.

It's great having another member from Africa here - we enjoy members from at least six continents here at Nexus - it truly is a worldwide community.

Again, a very warm welcome to you.
"But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. The present moment, ultimately, is more than enough, a gift of grace and unfathomable value, which our friend and lover death paints in stark relief."

There are acacias in Africa worth pursuing.
