Finally, after months of research (all kinds of research, extractions, personal experiences, OD problems, doses, chemical structure, etc) about DMT I finally received my mimosa and my first extraction was a huge success.

I´m pretty sure some, if not most, of my questions were dumb for many of you and still you answered all of them. I absolutely felt a need to come in and say thanks to you guys.

My first experience was bittersweet. I started small with 25mg and made the huge mistake of doing so with a sore throat (infection, painful even to swallow). Incredibly dumb I know but I never expected the smoke to be so harsh. I felt like my throat was on fire or had been splashed with acid. Unfortunately, because of the pain (and the VERY bizarre, although painless, feeling of a "finger" touching my chin) I was unable to enjoy the many patterns displayed inside my eyelids. Even so after the experience was over and the pain subsided I felt incredibly good. My mood sky rocketed! I can only imagine how great this must be when used with a healthy throat.

I decided, duh, to wait until I´m perfectly healthy to give it another go. And yet I could not wait another minute to thank you all.

So: THANKS!!!

If I ever make it to a full member I HAVE to post good reviews of my supplier. Fantastic to say the least.

sounds like you burned your DMT, try a more efficient method of vaporization.

also it might be possible there are solvent traces in your extract.

or it was just your sore throat. but it sounds like it could be a combination of 2 things or even all 3.

I would try holding your lighter farther away from the device. I've found that the distance from the bottom of your fingernail to the tip of your actual finger is a good place to start. Maybe even slightly further.
