Hey folks,
I got 50g of Anadenanthera colubrina seeds this morning and intend to do a few different things with them, one of which is fermenting them in the way that some shamans do before turning them into a snuff. I'm assuming it's a pretty basic process to ferment them, but I was wondering if anyone had any advice or experience with this already?
I'm just about to prepare a batch of unfermented, toasted seeds (around 8g) so that I can test the two products seperately and compare the effects. I've already burnt my first batch and was left with a rather unpleasant, almost coffee-ish smelling power after grinding it up, shells and all. Doh! On a side-note, would it be worth testing this burnt product as a snuff? I know bufotenine has a high heat tolerance, but this was 30 minutes in the oven at 220 degress celcius; I'm moderately concerned about this black powder being full of nasties and am erring on the side of caution with this anyway, so I'd appreciate any input.
Cheers!
