Hi all,

I've been researching spice off and on for a little while now and feel like finally taking the plunge. I've been lurking here for a bit and out of the all resources/communities the nexus seems like home to the most like-minded to people. Not usually one to post anything (no fb or tweets from me!), the intelligent discussion found on many of the threads has motivated to be part of the discourse here. I'll take any and all advice, comments and criticisms.

I plan to start making spice in the new year and hope to get all the help I need to get started.

And yes, I found out about DMT from Joe Rogan :-) That doesn't mean I haven't already had my ego humbled by other paths...

STS is a community for people interested in growing, preserving and researching botanical species, particularly those with remarkable therapeutic and/or psychoactive properties.

Hello TKKT,

Welcome to the Nexus. Many paths lead here - it's all good. Great to have you here and thanks for posting an Introduction Essay.

What plant source will you be using for your first extraction? We are in the middle of a transitory revolution here, as the MHRB is no longer procurable.

What first ignited your interest in DMT? You said you'd been researching it awhile now.

Also, do you have much other psychedelic experience to date?

Again, great to have you here and welcome to the Nexus.
"But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. The present moment, ultimately, is more than enough, a gift of grace and unfathomable value, which our friend and lover death paints in stark relief."

Thanks!

As stated Rogan was my first introduction to DMT, but I have had many experiences with shrooms and edibles.

As for plant matter, that is one of the areas I hope to gain insight on here. Being new to it might be an advantage for me as I haven't had the chance to get attached to MHRB. I hope some of the more educated folks here can steer me in an appropriate directions.

I'm not in a rush to make spice, I'd rather take my time and do it right
