The first time I smoked DMT and broke through I heard a strange 'chime' sound as a purple fractal spiral thing formed infront of me and my consciousness literally separated from my body and popped out of my forehead.

Has anyone else experienced this? It only happened that first time.

Yup, DMT provides all manner of strange aural phenomena for me. Sometimes it is higher pitch, others it is more of a rumble, and a strange sort of plinky plonky bell / singing bowl type music, hard to explain but that clip recreated it pretty well. There are all kinds of sounds out there though, the sounds are often forgotten about due to the jaw dropping visual intensity of most breakthroughs though I think, and are therefore less well documented.

I get alot of the zip, zoink, zowng, laser gun type sounds on DMT.

Focusing on the sound can bring about some amazing experiences

I'n also familiar with these sounds.. I've found sometimes that for me, after the flash when the visuals are subsiding, I can actually focus best on them as there fading away. One time coming back from a breakthrough launch I was unable to wipe the grin off my face as I was still lying in bed trying to repeat the sounds back as best as I could out loud "bing boing zing zong".. That time they specifically sounded like the entites were the ones making the noises themselves

I've also had a few experiences where i got this INTENSE buzzing that was so loud i thought it was going to blow my head off. Literally knocking me on my ass and vibrating not only my body, but the entire room until everything just shattered.

I think what you heard is a form of Hypnagogia usually called "Exploding Head Syndrome".

I get this from time to time even when i'm sober and is quite common. I think DMT does bring it on because I think it gets released from our pineal gland just as we fall asleep.
I do a lot of 'mind asleep, body awake' practice and also energy work which brings it on.

I usually get a loud laser sound or ringing tone. It can be uncomfortable but you can get used to it.

I've had that during/inbetween sleep but i'm not sure about trips. I don't think this carrier wave phenomenon is that, but i do think they're related

Hehe. There's really no solid medical proof on the cause of it so the theory of the brain acting as a tuning device is plausable.

I've had chiming on DMT that was 100% musical. It was a lullaby arranged in 4 part harmony with a clear and Western harmonic progression. Very high, tinny chimes. And completely audible in the ears, not sounding from within or the imagination.



I get those bleepy bloopy sounds too, and I've also noticed that the entities seem to making the sounds themselves. It's been my observation that it seems like sometimes they make the sound or release the vibrations they do, because it's somehow like a cymatic signal that allows them to move in the way they do. There would be no motion without the signal, and external physical music can tend to "override" the signal as they become entrained to your external music.

I love that track. I have never heard anything like that on DMT, though. I hope I do. When I breakthrough all I hear is a super high frequency tone. On low doses it sounds like I am on a plane.
