hi im am not experienced with ayahuasca i have only tried it once and it was half assed.now about an hour ago i had an experience and now i want to purge everything bad out of my body i would go for the ayahuasca if it was more readily available to me atm the only place i can get it is from a se;f proclaimed "shaman" ( he is nothing more than a drug dealer with fancy ass clothes) who is the farthest thing from one and he charges a mandatory 90 dollar donation for one cup of shitty see through ayahuasca and you have to sit through a ceremony with guitars and maracas and shit. fuck that

anyways i was wondering if anyone knew about anyother substance legal or not or psychoactive or not that couses a similar purge as that to ayahuasca?

im not really trying to trip so it does not matter if it is uncomfortable and their is no trip. if there isnt then i will have to go the ayahuasca route but it will have to wait

i have been wantinng to make ayahuasca with the yellow bcaapi vine and chacruna but find it hard to find a good reliable source and would greatly appreciate the name of a vendor that has good quality vines and for a good price if possible( if it is not against the rules that is, if it is against the rules then ignore this or just say so)

any and all imput is appreciated

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Caapi only sounds like a good choice for your wants and needs. In higher doses its quite psychedelic but can still induce the purge at low dosings.
I say this because you mentioned not needing a strong visionary experience.

Yellow vine is a good starting point, along with red. Some people have reported Black vine can be much stronger. I have no personal experience with Black or white.

Hope this helps sorry it took a couple day for a reply mate.

P.s. Your friend/ "shaman" sounds like something I would not be at all interested in as well. No shortage of self proclaimed shamans and prophets as of late.

Bien Viaje!

the purge always feels more powerful and healing with some admixture. Often times the admixture is what induces the purge.

i agree with, oddly for me, for some reason the only time i can purge is from the admixture, ive taken huge amounts of caapi only and wanted to purge but couldnt, but every time no matter what a minute or 2 after downing some chacruna no stopping it. Regarding dmt ive purged from being overly dmt and threshold caapi, but that was probably from the sure intensity of the trip, also found throwing in even a small trace of dmt to a caapi mixture to be slightly more healing.

I concur as well. The biggest purges Ive had were the heavy chacruna brew we made out here! O the smoky ham like nasty taste still makes me shudder!
I never tasted chacruna this way till I came to Peru so I wonder if its because it was fresh.
Addy add quite a purge. Good point Jaime.

you know..I took linguahuasca yesterday..chaliponga crystals and rue harmalas..finally got it to work sublingual as good as a brew..I rinsed my mouth out after to make sure I did not swallow anything..and I still purged at the peak. Not a heavy purge but I dry heaved and then hacked up some water and bile or something at the peak..just took a sip of water got my bowl and purged..so I am thinking it has something to do with the alkaloids themselves jsut being in the body, reguardless of how they are consumed..I have gotten dizzy and gagged a couple times just vaping harmalas..a brew is probly the most likely to make everyone puke though.

The body load was very clean with no nausea with sublingual..so I was surprised I even purged at all..it just sort of came and went and felt good..it was just like a brew though..once the tryptamine effects came to a peak the purge just came.
Long live the unwoke.

Linguahuasca?! Sounds awesome? Were both substances in FB form? Or was at least the Spice fumarate salt? Uncomplexed, I'm assuming? Sorry I just had never heard of anyone using this usually-theoretical ROA!

I think a few (or more) factors play a part in the purge :1-the oils/insolubles/tannins in the plants are what I believe to cause the initial purge (in the first 10min or so post ingestion) 2- the harmaloids give the motion sick/spinning/churning sensation which can give purges (perhaps this is the primary purge), 3-the tryptamines present activate the serotonin receptor subtype responsible for nausea (can't remember precisely what subtype), which I am thinking is that purging-from-the-intensity purge. There are probably more factors but these are the main ones. If I'm wrong; let me know anyone.

OP: I'm thinking, like others, that caapi-only would be a way for you to go. In the medium dose range (40-70grams) there is only the beginnings of a psychedelic train-of-thought, it's much calmer and less frenetic than with admixture so I feel it is much more grounding/peaceful/meditative than with admixture. I'm assuming you've heard of Peganum Harmala? If not, it's time to check it out! It is much less expensive than caapi, quite a bit more potent (active dose being around 3.5 grams giveortake, compared to 40-60 grams just for MAO inhibition with caapi). The ratio of B-carbolines is different, with harmaline usually predominating and THH usually absent (correct me if wrong there), so it is more sedating and it is a more powerful RIMA (meaning interactions both good and bad are more likely with Harmala -I've never had an issue with any food-reaction from Harmala and I don't really watch what I eat from a MAOI perspective (finding any MAOI diet to be excessive and uncalled for when dealing with RIMAs (some may experience more reaction than I do, so do your own self-experimentation!)

I highly recommend meeting Mr. Harmal as he is a great ally to have. I think of him as a masculine counterpart to caapi (perhaps "counterpart" is the wrong term). You will purge, physically and spiritually! He makes me think of Mandaeanism, Zoroastrianism, and esoteric Islam!

that brings me of the idea of kambo.

kambo is a frog venow, that gets applied on the skin, which brings up a heavy short term effect on you, leading to a intensive cleaning purge.
(due to its a venom, make any research very thoughtful before attempting any of this).

i used kambo just a couple of times, so my first hand experience is limited here.
but it does that for me, what you ask: its a pure cleanse, a real deep purge, feeling it removes a lot out of your body, refreshing till deep in your mind.

you are not tripping as we understand it (but you undergoe another 10-15 intensive minutes), it really concentrates on the act of cleaning and purging. but its bedded always in a ceremony, at least for me. makes it feel way more powerful using right intentions.

maybe worth a look up.

have good luck on your travel.

i never feel that the purge is something bad or unpleasant.
If i am sick ( like flue ) and i vomit well that feels bad....
But with aya, purge, feel weird for a minute or 3 and space on Smile
Let us declare nature to be legitimate. All plants should be declared legal, and all animals for that matter. The notion of illegal plants and animals is obnoxious and ridiculous.

Maybe a little off topic... is it "wrong" to try to force a purge? Like if you are wavering on the "maybe, maybe not puke" line, and just can't purge? I have yet to vomit, tho lower GI cleansing definitely happens.

Just kind of wondering about that, since we're on the topic

I think that if you have held the brew down for long enough for absorption of the alks to happen then it may well be better go force the purge than to lay there feeling sick for many hours.

I dont really ever feel 'sick' or uncomfortable... it's kind of strange when I compare to what others have said. but I know each person's experience is their own.
