I seriously recommend a watch of this short 30 minute video to anyone who cares about the state of our world and the endless graps of consumerism, it's incredibly moving and very powerful.

How foolish is man that he values rock over flesh and blood, metal over the love of family and progression over sustainability.
One can drive himself to madness in the obsessing goal of reason, without the knowledge of love and laughter.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

what I dont get is why people dont just call it what it is..Terrorism.

In our society terrorists sit at the head of large multi-national organizations making millions of dollars a year and living sheltered lives away in posh mansions. There is a discusting sense of irony in how the term "eco terrorist" has come to be applied.

Ive been to city hall meetings where I live fighting for the rainforest here..you know what? they sensor who is allowed back. At least here, the whole thing is a large conspiracy. It is sad how people who would rather walk the lands of a dead world have turned their back on their mother. Such people are a danger to everyone else and we should all be protected from such psychopaths.
Long live the unwoke.

and progress marches on...

this is a great example of the corporatocracy green washing energy policy with this hydro-powered dam. watching that federal employee explain how the bel monte dam is sustainable and better than all other sources is just disgusting. great reminder that hydro-power energy is not sustainable and it will cause ecological destruction. it just wasn't enough for them to rape the amazon unsustainably huh? now they gotta green wash their resource extraction efforts to hide their bio-terrorism.

at least the US is getting a reminder this week of the golden rule. "One should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself." Applying to the enter earth as well, she's giving us a taste of our own medicine Wink .

What got me the most was the peoples beliefs, "Things should stay under the ground where they belong" we've dug up the gold and it's created all the wanton greed and destruction on this planet, technology has warped our sense of reality and society has made us so ignorant to truth.

If the amazon goes, we all go..

Most definitely man. The Amazon produces more than 20% of the worlds oxygen. It is the last hope we have, if only we could get past our techno-industrial addiction that drives it's destruction...

Why isn't the rest of the world being consulted? These rainforests aren't just an asset to Brazil, but the entire world. This is bad news for ALL of us. You think the weather has been getting funky recently? Wait until you flood vast swathes of rainforest. That will completely throw the natural balance completely out of kilter. Not cool.
