I'm trying to find some credible information about this, as I would like to know if it's worth anything in this manner of use. As I read the reports about rue experiments, and even solo experiences with the thinking tree, I feel that it might be a really powerful, though smooth, and good admixture. After a lot of searching around I really did not find a single soul who have written concretely about using Acacia Confusa as an Ayahuasca admixture, which in my world means combining it with B. Caapi, not rue. On the shamanistic level I consider the rue experiences to be more focused on the admixture plant than on the rue itself, serving more like a guardian and travel mate in the experience. I'm also curious of using the full-spectrum extract infused in changa (chinga? ) , maybe even mixed 50/50 with Mimosa full-spectrum. I much prefer to use the fullspectrum DMT for changa as I consider it to give a much deeper spiritual and medicinal effect (ever tried smelling your armpits after smoking jimjam after eating curry? Hehe...) I will be trying an A/B extract like I do with Mimosa some time soon, thinking about maybe defatting it with some light oil that I can discard before freebasing the mixture. Also thinking about removing tannins, but very sceptic to using eggs as I'm an allergic, I guess I'm a bit paranoid here though as I'm doing what I mention next. I'm the all-natural nontoxic kinda guy, with the exception of using NaOH for basing, but I consider this okay as I do the "filter" between d-limonene and water which leaves impurities like this nearly out of the question. I also transfer the limonene to a different, slim container, separating twice from water, to make sure that the small amounts of stuff I always manage to bring when soaking up the limonene get dissolved thoroughly in more water, and the second container that I use is fairly good for avoiding to suck up anything from the water layer. My procedure will be like with Mimosa; A/B with 2-3 soaks of shredded bark for some days, then drying to barely moist, chopping it up finely on a board (glad I have a partner, this takes time), and then brewing it two rounds more, combining all, reducing down, basifying with NaOH, pulling with d-limonene and salting out with acetic acid, then to evaporate acetates in a big pyrex cake-baking-dish in an oven at around 95 degrees with the fan running maniac to get the vapour out of the oven. Always gives me a smooth, clean result with Mimosa, so I'm hoping my ninjamethod will yield some sweet Acacia oil as well... So anyway... did anyone try any of this or will I have to sacrifice myself as the test bunny for this? Stay tuned...

I extracted maybe a quarter gram of clear spice oil with q21s tek from 100 grams confusa. It is well worth it, though not as good as Mimosa I am very pleased. It is nice in changa, I still havent gone for a breakthrough but I am easing my way up. I want also ease into formsahuasca after my feet get a little more wet.

I am in the middle of an extraction on confusa. Have been neglecting to keep pulling on it due to work, although today I'm going to do 3 or 4 more pulls. I tried out the product a few days ago and had a great experience with only 10mg of it. I used q21's white and fluffy tek and have gotten around half a gram from 4 pulls so far. I have also tried Formosahuasca once so far, and have 8 grams of confusa brewed waiting in my freezer for this upcoming week. I really dig the experiences I have had so far with it, and I have to conduct some more experiments on it , FOR SCIENCE . Only a few find the way, some don't recognize it when they do - some... don't ever want to.- Cheshire Cat

Does it come in two phases with Ayahuasca as I've read it does with rue, or was the journey more consistent? I know Ayahuasca knows her tricks in working the other plants around her thumb in mystical ways... Still waiting for fresh limonene and reducing my brew here... I'll put on 150g acacia for soaking now.

I am going to try this too. Although I may use Rye instead of cappii any reason you chose that one over the Rue?
A few months ago I did read about a guy in Taiwan or possibly china who used it as ayuhasca. I believe he said that he and a group of people did this. He talked about taking it alone too.

I read about this too. I think it was Thailand. Thus the Thaiahuasca suggestion. Also I meant to say, you should also try it with no caapi or rue at all, it's apparently effective on its own. It might have it's own maoi component, or something. Actually, it originates in Tawain. Search for a Nexus thread called FORMOSAHUSCA. It's also orally active on it's own, according to the thread.

Huh, well whaddya know. Doesn't really matter too much I guess, I just thought it was a clever name. It just SOUNDS so much like Ayahuasca. Also when I've looked at buying some, the suppliers usually say it's from Thailand. I think only Confusa root bark is orally active but I could be wrong The Warrior’s Prayer "I am what I am. In having faith in the beauty within me I develop trust. In softness I have strength. In silence I walk with the gods. In peace I understand myself and the world. In conflict I walk away. In detachment I am free. In respecting all living things I respect myself. In dedication I honour the courage within me. In eternity I have compassion for the nature of all things. In love I unconditionally accept the evolution of others. In freedom I have power. In my individuality I express the God-Force within me. In service I give of what I have become. I am what I am: Eternal, immortal, universal, and infinite. And so be it"

After google searching and use of memory I found this quote in this thread. https://www.dmt-nexus.me...sts&t=33648&p=7
Quote:The Traveler wrote:nen888 wrote:why it's important not to harvest acacia root bark, see latest Acacia info thread post here.. Let me repeat that information to make it perfectly clear for all: nen888 wrote:Harvesting of Root Bark Kills Trees
..i have checked a number of suppliers of Acacia confusa bark for Chinese medicine (easy to find) and in all cases they are supplying trunk or stem bark, Not root bark, as (unlike Mimosas) this will kill an Acacia tree..the % alkaloid in stem bark is perfectly good (approx 1.0% average, up to 1.5%, from several reports)..and reliable ..so, while there may have been a higher yielding result in One scientific test of the root bark, this is no reason to use confusa or any species' root bark..
Kind regards, The Traveler

I am only curious about the dif in the properties of what is called "inner bark" and root bark. Im not going to harvest any. I agree that sustainable harvesting is important. But some places eradicate this plant when it has over growth so root bark is available, and its ok in some instances.

i have used acacia confusa many times with caapi its very strong ad mixture its amazing seems to last longer then say chacruna, i find that the energy is very coarse more apperent energy where as i find chacruna to be a very fine energy. its an amazing admixture seems to lack that real ancient feel of the south american teacher coming to you with amazing designs and what not. but still an amazing admixture and very easy to deal with seems to be consistent where as chacruan is not so consistent
