Hey guys. It's been a while since I've had the pleasure of traveling to hyperspace and posting on the forum. However my question this evening is sadly minus a trip to the unknown. I haven't purchased mimosa since Ebay and Paypal blocked the sale and I've read countless horror stories of mimosa getting stopped at customs, the DEA raiding domestic suppliers and just an all out hault on everything. This saddens and infuriates me at the same time.

Since I've been missing from the forum for a while, forgive me if I am asking anything that has been discussed (as I'm sure it has) or anything that is out of line. But what are we to do with all of the tyrannical acts of the government? Notice the choice of words, tyrannical acts of the government. Seeing as there is no law banning mimosa, this is the perfect example of a tyrannical act.

So, what have you guys been doing? Are there any reputable stores in the US anyone would recommend? Have we moved on to a different plant?? Can someone please guide me in the right direction as to what I need to do to get my ticket to hyperspace again.

There have been a lot of recent posts about the bark crisis. I haven't checked them in depth, but it is sounding grim currently. I do not know if there is hope for anything changing. I do think folks are getting acacia through and that some of those teks are becoming viable.

Speaking for myself, I've just been using a lot less and living off of my last kg. Last time I actually purchased MHRB was in 2010.

I hope you get some good answers. Beware some hostility here from more senior personnel on this topic - apparently it is a sore spot as this problem has been a long time coming and they are (or were) getting inundated with a ridiculous number of PM's asking pretty much the same questions as you have here. .

Check out the suppliers subforum, I believe there is still some available. However it has been a few days since I've checked. I also cant recall where but theres a few threads discussing the raids.

As Pandora said there are some suppliers with Acacia and also Phalaris. They require modified teks but search around and a lot of the work has been done already.

Beginning to grow your own Acacia, Phalaris, Mimosa, and more is also a wonderful option. Personally I am currently looking into local sources of Phalaris Aquatica and Phalaris Brachystachys. I may get some seeds/clones and grow those. Either way I plan to run a TLC and attempt a modified BLAB-FASI extraction, then TLC again and update with results. The Collaborative Research Project and Plant Analysis and Substance Testing forums have great info on these sources.
