Spread your wings bigbird. Spread your wings and fly away. Fly far away from here. You´re not a grey mouse bigbird. You´re a BIRD. A big bird. Don´t let them put you away bigbird. Don´t let them take your freedom. You´re a goddamn bird, bigbird, a BIRD. A wellfare line is no place for a creature like you. You don´t belong to that 47% of totally useless americans who´re lazy and useless and lazy. YOU´RE A GODDAMN BIRD!!! Fly bigbird, fly. Don´t let them hold you down. Fly. Fly far away from here. Be a bird.

I've loved bigbird and especially snuffupagus for about 40 years now. Don't threaten us muppets in 'da 'hood! "But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. The present moment, ultimately, is more than enough, a gift of grace and unfathomable value, which our friend and lover death paints in stark relief."-Rick Doblin, Ph.D. MAPS President, MAPS Bulletin Vol. XX, No. 1, pg. 2Hyperspace LOVES YOU

Quote:For fiscal year 2010, federal funding for PBS through CPB accounted for about 12% of PBS’ revenue. In terms of dollars, that works out to about $300 million. There’s not much wiggle room to be had: the money that actually goes to CPB is split according to a mostly statutory formula. For 2015, Congress has budgeted $445 million for CPB. That’s less than 1% of the budget. Way less. It’s about 1/100th of a 1%. Romney Promises To Cut Taxpayer Funding For PBS (But Says He Still Loves Big Bird)Instead of Big Bird maybe we should focus on more critical issues like cutting the US debt - currently estimated to be a little over $16,000,000,000,000.00 or $51,000 per US citizen. Or, two (soon to be three) wars that no one wants to talk about (the Predator drone program is estimated to run around $2.8b). Yet, the politicians win by focusing your attention at Big Bird with a mere $300m. "Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored." -A.Huxley

Psssssssst! Hey now I don't want to start a CT topic with this but .................. I know what Romney's motivation for ending Sesame Street is.... You can't repress the truth.....no one can! Eliyahu attached the following image(s): guysmley.jpg (11kb) downloaded 84 time(s). snuff.jpg (19kb) downloaded 78 time(s). snuffaluffagus.jpg (12kb) downloaded 78 time(s). romney's secret.jpg (22kb) downloaded 77 time(s).And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not percieve the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, "brother let me remove the speck from your eye", when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye?-Yeshua ben Yoseph

Getting to know your neighbors, building community, working together for the common good, educating the children, knowing right from wrong, solving problems with words instead of violence, being kind and generous, etc...

I'm urging everyone to turn out this November and write in Big Bird for president. If they are going to give us the "opportunity" to choose between two war-mongering puppets on the same bankroll, I say let's choose a puppet that stands for our best interests! VOTE BIG BIRD 2012!!!dreamer042 attached the following image(s): BB.png (256kb) downloaded 38 time(s).
