Hello everyone, yet another Seattleite here. After lurking around for a while I decided that it would be best to begin participating in some of the discussions that happen here. I've got a diverse range of interests (Programming, Parkour, Climbing, Backpacking, ...) and have been interested in this sort of self exploration for quite some time.

Most importantly though, I want to stay safe with what I do. While I'm not expecting to embark on any great journeys for some time, this seemed like a smart first step. I still have a lot to learn, think about, and questions to ask before I'll feel ready (and what better place to do all of this).

While I'll admit that I'm fairly new to drugs in general, all of my research has led me to DMT. I have a great amount of respect for the drug (just from reading people's experiences) and especially like the idea of me personally learning how, experimenting with, and finally creating the end result.

Thanks for the great resource guys, I hope that I one day have the experience to share with fellow newcomers.

Good screen name you have there....

Welcome aboard. Very happy

So do you mind telling us what experience you have had with psychedelics so far?
Also ...I'm just curios as to what types of things you are looking to learn by using DMT?

And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not percieve the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, "brother let me remove the speck from your eye", when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye?-Yeshua ben Yoseph

Honestly, I have zero experience with psychedelics (besides being around people using them). I've dabbled into other drugs before but never found anything that I was really interested in, my research kept pointing me in this direction.

As for what I'm looking to learn, even I'm not sure yet, I'm hoping to find out eventually, but have no immediate plans, I'm still in the learning phase.

And yeah, I'm pretty happy Nova wasn't taken Very happy, I use this handle everywhere but always have to add awkward variations.

Live long and prosper Thumbs up
I'm sorry but I don't want to be an Emperor - that's not my business - I don't want to rule or conquer anyone. I should like to help everyone if possible, Jew, gentile, black man, white. We all want to help one another, human beings are like that.We all want to live by each other's happiness, not by each other's misery. We don't want to hate and despise one another. In this world there is room for everyone and the earth is rich and can provide for everyone. The way of life can be free and beautiful. But we have lost the way.Greed has poisoned men's souls - has barricaded the world with hate; has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed. We have developed speed but we have shut ourselves in: machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical, our cleverness hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little..

Hi Nova,

Welcome to the Nexus. I enjoyed your introduction. You sound like a person who enjoys adventure and exploration. I suspect you will be pleased when/if you do eventually try a psychedelic.

This place is thick with all kinds of juicy info, as I am sure you have already noticed.

Don't hesitate to ask questions and directly participate.

Feel free to join us in chat if you like.

Again, welcome.

Welcome nova. As a beginner it is likely that you´ll feel a bit intimidated by the power and depth of the psychedelic experience at first. But i promise you: when you didn´t end-up in a mental hospital after the first 10/20 times, you will discover that there´s not much to fear realy. Big grin

Welcome Nova!

You seem like a very grounded, sensible individual. You will do well. The entire process from learning to extracting to journeying and integrating......it's all a really very beautiful process of self discovery. It truly is. Love This path really does require a mature, sensible attitude with a pinch of craziness. Twisted Evil

Any questions, feel free to ask away. This experience WILL change your life.

Once again, welcome!

Namaste-
