Hi SPD, welcome aboard. Don't worry about how you sound, you sound fine to me. I'm new here too and haven't experienced DMT yet, so I am learning from even the relatively new like you. I've partaken of other traveling experiences, but out of the little I can remember, nothing was as intense as DMT sounds.
Have you considered ayahuasca? From what I understand(I've watched a handful of documentaries and read a bit), it's longer but less intense. It's what I'm aiming to do.
Anyhow, I suppose others will be able to offer you more insight, but I wanted to welcome you and encourage you to keep an open mind to not jumping ship just yet, at least before reading a bit more about possible ways to change your experience should you choose to give it a go again. Thanks for sharing your experience, and I truly can empathize about the being worried about losing my mind part(and body as well), and then seeing it was just temporary, albeit with something other than DMT.
