Good morning from Texas!
Just going to throw out a few inquiries for your wise brainballs.
1. What is the best known method for storing my spice?
I've been told the fridge works and as I've been keeping it there, I haven't noticed the clumping that usually follows a long stay in the pantry or some such place of room temp. Guess I just want to confirm. I know that water is bad for my spice and am worried about condensation.
2. (The more important to me of the two) What should good spice look like?
I used natureboy's tek... first batch looked like tiny piss-yellow grains of quarts. Second batch looks like parm. cheese. I thought I was looking for more of a crystaline substance but I'm told an off-white powder (mmmm smells flowery) is just fine. Can one look at DMT and get a good feel for the quality/potency/purity? I understand that the darker yellow it is, the more mimosa oils have remained and this second batch is very pale, so I suppose that it is more pure than the first batch, though not as crystaline.
I've used both batches and I got the feeling that the first one worked better but my ability to trip and the fact that I may not deserve to be venturing through to hyperspace have come into question recently so I'm on a deemster hiatus. Other of my experienced friends have tried both batches and both have worked just fine for them, even when using a conduction method like "oil burner" pipes, or the good-ole weed/deemster in a bong.
If it isn't too much trouble, in-depth answers or a link to them would be appreciated greatly as I have asked these questions in the chat a few times only to get semi-satisfying responses that seem to raise only more questions.
If a picture of my spice would help I would be happy to provide one.
