I have no idea why I'm calling it that, but it's as good a name as any.

Just finished. Three days from concept to completion, another two for the glyphs last week.

I like this one alot.Art, your works continue to improve and , although you probably don't need any encouragement, do persist in your endeavours. Smile
I am paranoid of my brain. It thinks all the time, even when I'm asleep. My thoughts assail me. Murderous lechers they are. Thought is the assassin of thought. Like a man stabbing himself with one hand while the other hand tries to stop the blade. Like an explosion that destroys the detonator. I am paranoid of my brain. It makes me unsettled and ill at ease. Makes me chase my tail, freezes my eyes and shuts me down. Watches me. Eats my head. It destroys me.

Thank you, corpus. Your encouragement means a great deal, actually.

I've decided to change the title to Girl Before a Mirror (on a Shitload of LSD), as an homage to my ultimate hero. Perhaps Royale With Cheese has yet to be painted.

I see scorpions.

I really like this. A bit of a departure from your other stuff... And probably the most similar to actual trip visuals of anything you've done. And it doesnt look like anybody else's visionary art, either. Great job man!

What kind of cheese did you use? If i had to guess i´d say danish blue or camembert...but i´m not sure.

Cool picture!

Thank you, guys. It's funny how I can sweat and sweat over something for weeks and have it turn out like crap, and then just let go, do something spontaneous and have it flow very easily. There was zero planning with this one, really. I guess if I'm smart I'll take a lesson from this and move forward in similar fashion.

I think that those big epic meticulously planned projects have their place... you poke around with spontaneous projects like this one for a bit, and you start getting ideas for more epic projects based on how the spontaneous ones go.

In my painting practice I'll sometimes do 20 or 30 small, no-pressure canvases for each big fancy one. Not only does this help to explore new ideas and techniques, but it takes a lot of pressure off. Art should be fun!

Nice, looks like it could be the backing for a card deck to some bizarre psychedelic board game or something. Both names are good. I hate naming any of my work.
