I use to skateboard every day all day. I skipped class often to skate, always had my skate with me and skated every day after school and between classes. I rode for a local shop and skated contests and filmed often..and there was this other older guy that rode for the shop also and Rodney Mullen always reminds me of him..I once saw this guy do an ollie impossible to 50-50 down a freaking handrail! I barely ever skate these days after snapping every ligament in my ankles more than once, dislocating my shoulder and too many knee injuries to count. I skimboard a lot and love to surf though.

I skated lots of street back in the day..biggest thing I did was probly a 13 stair smith grind and I wish I could still go do that! Scares me though thinking than I could just bust my ass so bad one day and never walk again. I really love to skate bowls though and want to get back into that.

That's cool, man! Sucks about your injuries, though. My left elbow is permanently swollen from falling on it so many times.

I used to be pretty seriously into skating as well... first in middle school, a bit in high school, and a lot my first two years of college. I just moved to a new city with a huge skatepark, and a nice little spot (a basketball court with a bench) just a few blocks from my apartment... I haven't skated much in the past ten years, but I've been feeling a pull to get back into it too.

Cool video, btw, thanks for posting!

Damn Jamie that's some good skills, I hit up a couple of sets of 13 but always landed on my arseVery happy

I snapped my cruciate ligament which put a stop to the fun for a while then shortly after i lacerated my tibia which left me looking at a hole in my leg for 3hrs in hospital, this allowed the fear to set in and I couldn't skate againCrying or very sad . I now opt for the much safer option of trad climbingRolling eyes

I would love to get into surfin but the sea is mighy cold in my part of the world.

Really enjoyed watching this. I think even Mullen would be impressed by some of it.

"I am what I am. In having faith in the beauty within me I develop trust. In softness I have strength. In silence I walk with the gods. In peace I understand myself and the world. In conflict I walk away. In detachment I am free. In respecting all living things I respect myself. In dedication I honour the courage within me.
In eternity I have compassion for the nature of all things. In love I unconditionally accept the evolution of others. In freedom I have power.

I need to get a sector 9..my longboard is a skull skates double kicktail..basically like a long street deck. I used to take my friends sector 9 out with him cus he raced and had a few boards and we have some great hills that go down to the ocean..he went to like races down mountains and everything and then busted his arm like soo bad and wont race like that anymore. Kinda freaks me out to be honest lol..I love doing boarder x stuff on my snowboard and when I get going that fast on a skateboard over concrete I start to worry to say the least..I wonder how many busted bones these guys have had?

That was an awesome video, thanks for sharing. I used to skate when I was younger, but never spent enough time practicing to ever get very good.

Ive always thought seeing old empty buildings was pretty cool, and an old empty waterpark is even cooler. So that with the awesome skateboarding made a pretty sweet video Thumbs up
