So I tried brewing ayahuasca a few days ago, and it didn't turn out nearly as strong as I was hoping. I think where I messed up was I didn't brew it for long enough. However, I do not have a 15 hour period where I can brew nonstop.

So would it be Ok to brew my shredded b. Caapi for several hours tonight, put the entire pot (including the distilled water and plant matter that's in it) in the refrigerator overnight, and then continue brewing it the next day?

Also, I'll be brewing the b. caapi and chacruna separately, and I read that chacruna doesn't need to be brewed nearly as long as the caapi (I read 2 one-hour boils is fine), any truth to this?

Yeah you can leave it in the fridge overnight. It's hard to find a big time span to brew sometimes so breaking it up can be real helpful

I can't say on the chacruna though, as I've only used mimosa

<Ringworm>hehehe, it's all fun and games till someone loses an "I"

hello elseware,

you want to be doing 3x3hr boils, so you could just do 1 boil per day then combine and reduce.
