Hey Guys;
I have been doing a bit of reading on this site and now I actually have a question hence I thought I better start an account.
I was just wondering if any friendly botanists could help me identity these acacia's from these pictures. It would be of great help.

I live in Victoria Australia and am thinking I may have found some Acacia Mearnsii, and a Acacia maidenii. I may be wrong. I am also curious about what the other specimen I have might be that I have included.
All the photos are here on public view on myspace as I cannot work out how to post photos on Nexus.

Agreed on A. mearnsii. The last three could easily be the same species. The ball-like flowers rule out maidenii. I'm not good at the ballsy wattles but A. melanoxylon is the most common of that group in Vic. The big blob in the 3rd pic is just a gall.
