Everytime I'm about to travel by myself I get all nervous and talk myself out of it. Anyony have any advice for me?

Start softly with something you have experience with. Over thinking it is also a problem, it isn't as difficult as you might think. Also personally i prefer to go it alone. It adds to the experience as having others around can be distracting from the overall atmosphere created. You get to enjoy a lot of the subtleties offered that can be detracted from when others are around. But the first part of my advice is the most important. Go with what you know at a lower dose than you would do with others around and do not over think it. When you think about something to much you can either psych yourself up to much and be underwhelmed or become so anxious that it leads to a bad trip. So basically don't think and just do.

The Warrior’s Prayer
"I am what I am. In having faith in the beauty within me I develop trust. In softness I have strength. In silence I walk with the gods. In peace I understand myself and the world. In conflict I walk away. In detachment I am free. In respecting all living things I respect myself. In dedication I honour the courage within me.
In eternity I have compassion for the nature of all things. In love I unconditionally accept the evolution of others. In freedom I have power.
In my individuality I express the God-Force within me. In service I give of what I have become.
I am what I am: Eternal, immortal, universal, and infinite. And so be it"

I've always travelled alone until a few weeks ago when I had a few good friends round.
I dosed two of them for their first time. Both of them were absolutley speechless after the journey although one of them turned to me after it and said "Thank you" Thumbs up
The rest of the evening he continued thanking me for giving him the experience Pleased

Myself on the other hand found it quite strange travelling with other "humans" in my living room. Normally its just the entities and myself.

I get nerves too right before blast off, or sometimes even thinking about it. More so recently after a good break from the spice. I've ordered some herbs though and gonna try my hand at making some nice changa.

Normally the nerves dissapear when the spice kicks in and I find myself wondering what I was so anxious about Smile

My advice is to not use words like "can't" when you posses the ability to do so, also make sure you have your balls with you.

Stop thinking...get a hold of your habitual internal dialogue and stop letting it dictate what you can and cannot do.
And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not percieve the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, "brother let me remove the speck from your eye", when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye?-Yeshua ben Yoseph

I usually travel with others in the room, and rarely by myself. I say it is quite nerve racking to do it by myself. My advice would be that even if others are in the room, you still have to go through the experience by yourself, so whats the difference?

One way is to have two pipes. One pipe with an initial small dose, say 15 mgs and a second with maybe 25 or 30.
So you know that the first pipe is not going to rocket you, it will ease you in, and then after you smoke that your trepidations will likely be gone and you can then hit the second pipe. I've done that sometimes and had the best results!

Peace

I actually prefer to travel alone. I've been around friends and even when my wife's home with me, I can't fully let go. I believe it's already been said... But once I get a little rip going and I settle, the next one fire's off with a blast! Smile

good thing we're virtual
it'd be the longest awkward silence ever
The reasons all have run away but the feeling never did
It's not something I would recommend, but it is one way to live
Cause what is simple in the moonlight, by the morning never is

All in good fun!

In all my journeys I've only traveled solo once. And it was great. But I've always been worried that I'd burn myself on a hot pipe, land face first on the thing and not be aware enough to respond. It's been enough of an issue that my DMT journeys seem to be timed around the visitations of certain friends.

I definitely do find the presence of others to be distracting, though, no matter how quiet they may be. It causes Earthside thoughts to pop into my head that otherwise wouldn't be there. But this is probably less of an issue than entering into the trip with some kind of latent concern. Olympus Mon describes coming down from a trip and finding himself face to the floor, inches from the glowing hot business end of his GVG. So it's not a totally baseless fear... But I admit I've made it bigger in my mind than it probably really is.

I have only traveled alone. I love to chant and sing with no worries what friends may think..(hyperspace beings excluded) I also have always been keyed up/scared just before lift off. A man goes to knowledge like he goes to war.

I prefer to be alone. Fully letting go can be difficult with others in the room for me. I definitely get the pre-flight anxiety every single time though. I usually blast in my room with the door closed. I wouldn't want one of my roommates to walk in and see me lying there catatonic.
