The time I have dedicated to understanding and experimenting with spice, I have approached the experience with a presumption that I would be traveling in a sort of "Vehicle built to discover new revelations and have old questions answered." After my first and recent experience, I feel that instead of approaching the psychedelic mind with the hope of receiving answers to questions, I would like to approach it from a pretty far-out perspective.
I was reading Carl Sagan's "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors" and had a quick thought when he was describing the immense gaps of time in our evolution. From my fragile understanding of the chemical, when you sleep your mind secretes DMT, No? My understanding of the dream-state you encounter when using DMT crystals, goes more or less hand-in-hand with the former. With my experience, it was a lot like that of a dream in essence.
I thought of an entirely different approach to the use of DMT for other than Introspection or Cosmic Perception. In theory, (and only in theory mind you) couldn't one utilize the dreamlike facility provided by this substance to maintain mental faculty whilst in stasis/hypersleep? Other than the more pressing developments needed to maintain the body whilst in stasis, one would think that the mind would need be unconscious or in a dreamlike state during the extent of said stasis. While I was in hyperspace, my sense of time was distorted and lengthened predominantly. I was wandering if anyone had a thought or could substantiate, support and/or disprove the idea. Thanks.
